20,000 Leagues Under the Sea large-scale Nautilus submarine and squid - (Disney, 1954) This 11-foot Nautilus was built by master model-maker Scott Brodeen, whose extensive production credits include Star Trek, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, Waterworld, and Batman Forever. Brodeen has been a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea “student” for over 48 years. Recently, he was selected by Disney to join the exclusive team of artisans tasked with restoring the original 11-foot submarine at Disney World. He has studied every nuance that went into building the original 11-foot submarine. With hands-on experience working on the 11-footer, Brodeen was subsequently commissioned by Master Replicas to build its 31 in. Nautilus. Drawing on his experience with the previous Nautilus projects, Brodeen was able to create this 11-foot miniature in exacting detail, which is the most accurate Nautilus ever built. Over 1,000 man-hours went into building this submarine with no expense spared. This impressive model was hand-built by Brodeen from scratch, using styrene, plastic, urethane and metal components, all of which were also fashioned by hand. Numerous elements were created from the original mold masters used to create the screen-used ship, including propeller blades, propeller shaft, propeller guards, struts, raker teeth, front “ram spur,” speed screw brackets, phosphoric atomizer, hatches, the skiff, dorsal and condenser. Some of the highlights of the piece include the grand salon which contains the organ, as well as specimen cases, settees, the fountain, writing desk, library, aquariums and oriental rugs – all of which were re-created to exacting specifications. An ornate spiral staircase leads up to the wheelhouse, which features a large helm and various navigation controls. Both the salon (and its surrounding lights) and wheel house are fully illuminated. On top of the hull rests the detachable skiff. The hull features simulated iron plates and rivets, all of which have been painstakingly weathered to match the full-size set. The air intake gills also open, adding yet another touch of realism. To accompany the Nautilus, Brodeen and prop makers at HMS Creative Productions created a giant squid to be displayed with the submarine. Crafted of fiberglass and resin, it is an anatomically correct rendition of a Humboldt squid with body and arms measuring approx. 52 in. long (including mounting bracket) with 9-ft long tentacles (detachable for transport) and hand painted to detail. To keep the public from encroaching on the Nautilus are original custom made stanchions mimicking the Victorian rail posts aboard Nemo’s fantastic vessel. Brodeen crafted six custom stanchions, each standing 32 ¾ in. tall, hand-painted black and gold, fashioned of resin from a casting from the original molds used to create the actual rail posts on the 1954 Nautilus set. Built entirely by hand at a cost of over $100,000.00 in labor alone, this is the only one of its kind ever constructed. With exceptionally fine detailing, this model of Capt. DICK VAN DYKE CHIMNEY SWEEP COAT FROM MARY POPPINS - (Walt Disney, 1964) Black single-breasted three-button cotton coat, with internal Western Costume label typed “Dick Van Dyke”. Inscribed in white ink on the left chest by the actor, “God Bless, Dick Van Dyke”, in person on the set of Diagnosis Murder. This particular coat was worn by Van Dyke as “Bert” the Chimney Sweep in the memorable scene in which he happily sings the catchy tune “Chim Chim Cher-ee”, which received an Academy Award for BestSong – one of five garnered by Mary Poppins that year. Original screen-used Johnny Depp costume and display from Edward Scissorhands - (TCF, 1990) Johnny Depp wore this iconic screen-used “Edward Scissorhands” costume in his signature role in the Tim Burton classic, Edward Scissorhands. Designed by Academy Award-winning costume designer, Colleen Atwood, it is constructed of a complex array of leather and latex sections, in a variety of textures, which have been crudely stitched together to resemble a fetishistic patchwork and festooned with belts, buckles, grommets, screws and exposed seams. The trademark scissorhands are made from resin blades, vacumetalized to appear like metal and affixed to leather gloves that Depp could slip on easily. The spear has a wooden shaft and hard rubber point. Costume includes a large round shield, constructed of fiberglass painted and molded to resemble bronze. The pants are navy blue with silver piping up the sides and an interior label from “Eaves Costume Company”. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Keeshan dated March 27, 1972 that states that he wore this old-style costume on television many hundreds of times during the 1960s. COLONIAL WARRIOR UNIFORM FROM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - (ABC-TV, 1978-1979) Quilted tan tunic with gold braid at the collar and cuff s and tan breeches. The brown polyester faux chamois cloth jacket has suede shoulder guards, Galactica insigniapatch on the right shoulder and Galactica crew pins at the collar. The iconic Egyptian-style gold and black helmet is constructed of fi berglass with resin bird crest insignia on the front. There are two rows of interior light bars on inner side panels (electronics untested) and helmet liner. The brown Sidi boots have adjustable buckles and are approximately size 11. Jacket exhibits slight stains on the elbows and a tiny ½ in. tear on the back of the right sleeve; otherwise, Fine condition.

COMPLETE CYLON COSTUME FROM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - (ABC-TV, 1978-79) This particular costume was used in close-ups, such as within the cockpit of the Cylon Raiders. This costume features all of the twelve original chrome-plated plastic armor pieces, as well as a dark pewter gray vinyl rat-tail ribbed spandex under tunic. The chrome-plated plastic helmet features the iconic strobing electric red eye. Also included is the dark gray chainmail back skirt and chromed plastic covered battery belt, with chrome sword/scabbard. Approx. size 46, this suit fi ts a 6’7” actor. ORIGINAL BOB LARKIN COVER ARTWORK FOR THE BATTLESTAR GALACTICA COMIC BOOK. - (ABC-TV, 1978-79) This original acrylic on board painting features an exciting battle scene between the Colonial Vipers of the Battlestar Galactica versus a fl eet of Cylon Raiders and a Cylon Basestar. It was commissioned as a double wraparound cover for the Marvel Super Special Battlestar Galactica comic book, Vol. 1, No. 8, 1978. Measures 30 in. x 20 in., and is signed “Bob Larkin ‘78” at the lower left. The colors are absolutely stunning on this incredible piece of original art.

STARGATE “JAFFA” STAFF USED IN THE FILM STARGATE AND STARGATE SG-1 - (Carolco, 1994) A very rare Jaff a staff weapon used in the Kurt Russell sci-fi movie Stargate and then subsequently “handed down” and used on the hit TV show Stargate SG-1. This hero prop can be seen being used by the Jafar at various points throughout the movie and subsequently in the TV show. The highly detailed weapon is made from fi berglass, with an internal steel-strengthening rod. The staff has intricate engravings and decorations along the shaft and head and it has been expertly painted with a bronze fi nish with a variety of diff erent colored highlights. CRÈME FEDORA PERFORMANCE-WORN BY MICHAEL JACKSON - (1987) This is a Michael Jackson, performance-worn, crème-colored Fedora. Jackson fi rst brought worldwide attention to this style and color of hat when he wore one in his 10-minute long music video for the song, “Smooth Criminal.” In the video, Jackson wears and uses his Fedora as a prop as he dances through the 1930s-era setting. This crème felt blocked hat features a 1 ½ in. black trim ribbon. On the black inner liner is gold-gilt printed, “Michael Jackson” A gold maker’s tag reads, “X-Large WPL 5923 100% wool Made in U.S.A.” An iconic piece of memorabilia from the late great King of Pop.

MADONNA MTV MUSIC AWARD FOR THE SONG “BEAUTIFUL STRANGER”. - This MTV “Moonman” statuette was awarded to Madonna at the 1999 Music Television Awards for, “Best song from a Movie” for her song “Beautiful Stranger” that appeared in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. The 1ft x 5 in. x 5 in., 7 lb. trophy was presented to Madonna by Mark McGrath and Jennifer Lopez. The award statue, designed by Manhattan Design, which also created the MTV logo, is a three-dimensional representation of the logo: an astronaut planting an MTV fl ag on the surface of the moon. The silver trophy is made of Zinc, nickel silver plate, brass, paint and a felt pad on the bottom.

BRITNEY SPEARS SCREEN-USED CIRCUS MUSIC VIDEO DANCE COSTUME - In the music video for her 6th studio album, Circus, pop-princess Britney Spears wears this exceptional ensemble as she dances and sings her way through the entire big-top themed performance of the title track. This sleek signature costume includes vintage, black sequined dance shorts, a Vivienne Westwood white satin corset, vintage black Berman’s studio dance tuxedo tailcoat, an additional pair of black dance shorts (not used in the production), and a vintage top hat. This costume is highly visible throughout the video and remains in excellent condition. Acquired from the vintage costume rental company that provided this ensemble for the Circus music video production.

MICHAEL JACKSON “BAD” COSTUME. This Michael Jackson “Bad” costume was personally presented by Michael Jackson to the Hollywood Guinness World Records Museum/Hollywood Wax Museum in 1992 while being honored there for breaking three world records: Most Grammy Awards Won in One Year (1984, eight), Biggest Selling Album Ever (Thriller, 109 Million sold since 1982) and Highest Annual Earnings Ever for a Pop Star (1989, $125 million for the Bad World Tour). The costume includes the black leather motorcycle jacket, festooned with 11 gold police-style badges on the chest, gold crests on the upper sleeves, multiple buckles at the cuff s, and studded epaulettes. The extravagant, highly detailed belt features the oversize crest buckle with “Bad” in red enamel, and is decorated with dozens of small amber crystals, and circled with six additional smaller crest emblems. Also included are his black leather pants and black boots with gold shield detailing over the toe and top. Without doubt, one of the most recognizable costumes in pop music history. Previously sold on May 1, 2009 at the Hollywood Wax Museum Auction (lot 159) and includes a letter of authenticity by the Hollywood Wax Museum stating that the costume was personally presented by Michael Jackson to the Hollywood Guinness World Records Museum in 1992 during a ceremony there.

Costume consists of a rust-colored wool shirt with striped collar and cuff s, a pair of white polyester jodhpurs with large buttons attaching integral suspenders, a pair of brown leather slippers with attached pom-pom, each with handwritten notation reading “Clayton” (a possible reference to George Claydon who played one of the Oompa Loompas) and a green curly-haired wig with manufacturer’s label reading, “UNA Made in West Germany 100% Human Hair.” Originally obtained from Michael D. Beinner, Director of Field Advertising and Publicity for Paramount Pictures who was gifted the costume following its promotional tour of several key cities around the U.S. This is the only complete Oompa Loompa costume known to have survived and it remains as one of the most instantly recognizable costumes in fi lm history.

Scored for fl utes, clarinets, oboe, bassoons, horns, trumpets, trombones, percussion, harp, guitar, violins, violas, celli, basses and voice, it includes the 7 pg Overture as well as the tunes Candy Man, Charlie’s Paper Run, Buying Candy Montage, Augustus Meets Slugworth, Working Girl Finds Golden Ticket, Oompa Loompa, Bubble Machine, I Want It Now and many others. Housed in a spiral comb binding with printed cardboard covers, “Willy Wonka music by Walter Scharf.” Inscribed by Walter Scharf to director Mel Stuart on the fi rst page, “Thanks Mel, very much. JULIE DAWN COLE “VERUCA SALT’S” ORIGINAL SCREEN-USED “EVERLASTING GOBSTOPPER” FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) Original Everlasting Gobstopper screen-used by actress Julie Dawn Cole in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. One of only two known to exist, many say the Everlasting Gobstopper is the fi lm’s main plot element as a test of the kids morality and goodness to see if they would succumb to Slugworth’s off er to steal one from Wonka so he could get the secret recipe. And it was the Gobstopper that Charlie handed back to Wonka that eventually won him the “Grand Prize”. In the immortal words of Willy Wonka after getting back the Gobstopper, “Charlie, do you know what happened to the boy who suddenly got everything he ever wanted? He lived happily ever after!” Acquired directly from actress Julie Dawn Cole who played the spoiled English girl “Veruca Salt.” Comes with a notarized copy of a letter from Ms. Cole stating (in part), “The Everlasting Gobstopper was used in the Inventing Room Scene. Mr. Wonka gives each of the children one Everlasting Gobstopper each. Typically Veruca tries to wangle another one, if only she had succeeded! But at least I was allowed to keep this one.”

JULIE DAWN COLE “VERUCA SALT” HERO GOLDEN EGG FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. - (Paramount, 1971) Original hero Golden Egg screen-used by actress Julie Dawn Cole as “Veruca Salt” in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Measuring approx. 12 in. long and fashioned of polystyrene foam painted gold, this was the egg used in the Goose Room scene during the “I Want it Now” musical number. Acquired directly from actress Julie Dawn Cole who played the spoiled English girl “Veruca Salt.” Comes with a notarized copy of a letter from Ms. Cole stating (in part), “The Filming of this [the Golden Egg] scene and Veruca’s demise was actually fi lmed on my 13th birthday. The egg was presented to me at the end of the day’s shoot as a birthday present.”

It reads: “Wonka’s Golden Ticket – Greetings to you, the lucky fi nder of this Golden Ticket, from Mr. Willy Wonka!... Present this ticket at the factory gates at ten o’clock in the morning of the fi rst day of October and do not be late. You may bring with you one member of your own family…and only one…but no one else…In your wildest dreams you could not imagine the marvelous SURPRISES that await YOU!” Printed on shiny gold foil paper and measuring 3 ½ in. x 6 ¾ in. This ticket was used in the memorable scene where it is found at “Salt’s Salted Peanuts” factory following Mr. Salt’s ambitious efforts to secure a Golden Ticket for his daughter. GENE WILDER HERO “WILLY WONKA” MECHANICAL INVENTION ROOM KEY FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) This is the very memorable and unique mechanical skeleton key used by Gene Wilder as Wonka to unlock the doors to gain access to his top secret Invention Room. Crafted of metal painted gold, the key measures 14 in. long. The oval metal handle in the back turns a central shaft mounted to a gear, which turns two fl anking gears. In this scene of the fi lm, Wilder pulls the key out of his jacket pocket, fi ts the two attached skeleton keys in their slanted keyholes and cranks the handle of the key repeatedly as he welcomes the party to his Invention Room (speaking German!). Then, returning to English, Wonka continues, “Now remember, no messing about. No touching, no tasting, no telling.” An incredible one of a kind expertly crafted prop from the fi lm. This massive archive consists of 900+ pages of material, including production copies, carbon copies of letters, contracts, memorandums and other related documents (many hand-annotated) relating to the genesis of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory on through advertising and promotion following its completion. PROP WONKA SCRUMDIDILYUMPTIOUS BAR FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. - (Paramount, 1971) This Wonka Scrumdidilyumptious bar comes from the collection of actor Peter Ostrum who played Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Measuring 11 in. x 1 ¾ in., the bar consists of the heavy stock paper wrapper surrounding a light tissue paper-fi lled center. Exhibits minor creasing along the edges from studio use. This represents the only known hero Wonka Scrumdidilyumptious bar in existence.

ORIGINAL HARPER GOFF PUBLISHED ARTWORK FOR THE CHOCOLATE ROOM IN WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. - (Paramount, 1971) This stunning artwork, measuring approx. 33 in. x 24 in. is executed in acrylic and colored pencil by legendary Art Director Harper Goff , whose other memorable fi lms include Disney’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Vikings and Fantastic Voyage. Titled “Chocolate Waterfall - showing maximum use of optical on oompa-looma’s .” The work depicts a panoramic view of Wonka’s Chocolate Room with the center point being the chocolate river where the chocolate is mixed and churned by the waterfall. Pipes that hang from the ceiling come down and suck up the chocolate then send it to other rooms of the factory. Plainly in view are the miniscule Oompa-Loompas adding ingredients to the chocolate and piloting the tour boat approaching from the tunnel to meet Willy Wonka, Grandpa Joe and Charlie. Surrounding them are the colorful (and edible!) trees, fl owers, mushrooms and bushes. Signed at the lower right, “Harper Goff ’69.” Not only was this art used to create the lavish set from the fi lm, it was also published in ad materials during the movie’s release. Tipped to a larger illustration board measuring approx. 37 in. x 28 in. A fantastic example of production art embodying the magical tone of this great film. COLLECTION OF FIVE PROP WONKA CHOCOLATE BARS FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) Collection of fi ve original prop Wonka Bars from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Each is constructed of dense cardboard measuring approx. 6 1/4 in. x 3 1/2 in. and exceeding 1/8 in. thick. Precious few artifacts survived from this classic fi lm. The day after shooting wrapped at the Bavarian studios, Cabaret started shooting and the vast majority of the Wonka props were discarded. This grouping of fi ve bars represents the largest single grouping of authentic screen used Wonka Bars in existence. All remain in fi ne condition exhibiting only minor handling.

ARCHIVE OF PUBLICITY STILLS AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (Paramount, 1971) - A wonderful archive of promotional materials from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Collection includes 100+ publicity stills (with duplicates), 14 lobby cards, 18-page color program, Paramount Press Book and Merchandising Manual, 33 ? rpm record of Radio Spot Announcement, a Demonstration Copy soundtrack record as well as a commercially available soundtrack of the music from the fi lm and a Caedmon record of author Roald Dahl reading “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

Accompanied with an original Typed Letter Signed by Roald Dahl, one page, quarto, on “Gipsy House, Great Mussenden, Buckinghamshire ” letterhead stationery, dated October 2, 1970. Written to “Robert V. Newman, Wolper Pictures Ltd, Bavaria Atelier GmbH, 8 Munich 90, GERMANY.” Dahl writes (in full): “Dear Bob, I shall bring a copy of ‘Charlie’ with me when I arrive next Wednesday. It is published in Germany by Bertelsmann Jugendbuchverlag under the title of ‘Charlie Und Die Schokoladenfabrik’. Longing to see you. Yours Roald.” Fine. ROALD DAHL SIGNED LETTER TO WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY PRODUCER DAVID WOLPER. - (Paramount, 1971) Original Typed Letter Signed from author Roald Dahl to David Wolper, producer of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The one-page letter, dated December 21, 1971, discusses Dahl’s desire “of getting some of those ghastly songs cut from ‘Willy Wonka’” and vents his frustrations at not being heard during the production. (In part): “I refer particularly to the opening number ‘The Candy Man’ and the one in the middle that puts the break on everything, ‘Cheer Up Charlie’. The English reviews have just come out and we got a good press but almost without exception they regret the music...Bobby Newman tells me that he gave instructions for the cutting of the two worst songs on all the prints we have here in England. This was not done. Nor apparently has anything been done about the American prints for the showing this Christmas…With the stake I still have in this picture I feel I am entitled at this stage to express an opinion and to have it listened to. Not many of my opinions have been listened to up to now. Do let me know what you think. Yours sincerely, R.” At the top of the letter Dahl has penned the following to the attention of Robert Newman: “Bobby – I trust he will reply to me himself This Time. Kit includes 19 diff erent molds, mini Wonka candy bar wrappers, stick on labels, instruction booklet and decal sheet. All items come in a custom pictographic Willy Wonka Factory box. Accompanying the kit is a LIFE cereal box and a newspaper clipping from 1971 both advertising the candy factory kit.

WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY [UNDER “CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY” WORKING TITLE] SCRIPT WITH REVISIONS - (Paramount, 1971) Original production script for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory under the working title of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” 119pp, clasp bound with original covers. A complete third draft screenplay dated July 10, 1970 with numerous blue revision pages dated to August 4, 1970. Minor moisture damage at lower left, not affecting text.

INCREDIBLE COMPREHENSIVE ARCHIVE OF STILL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTACT PRINTS SPANNING THE FILMING OF WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) Incredible comprehensive archive of 180+ 9 ½ in. x 12 in. contact sheets featuring large 3 in. x 2 ¼ in., 2 ¼ in. and 35mm formats bearing still images shot throughout the filming and behind the scenes of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Images per page varies from 36 to 10, depending on format and film roll. Throughout the archive there are chosen images marked by grease pencil intended for publicity and promotion purposes (overwhelming majority are unmarked). The scope and depth of this archive is unprecedented. One can practically storyboard the entire fi lm with these stills. An incredible treasure trove of mostly unpublished images, many of which were shot behind the scenes. One could easily create a book from this lot as the images number in the thousands!

JACK ALBERTSON’S “GRANDPA JOE” PERSONAL SCRIPT FROM WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) Actor Jack Albertson’s “Grandpa Joe” personal script from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. A complete third draft screenplay, 116pp, dated August 28, 1970 with pink and green revision pages dated to October 29, 1970. Heavy stock binder with handwritten title in bold marker on the cover, “Jack Albertson as ‘Grandpa Joe’ Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory formerly Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Several members of the production have signed on the cover, among them: “Jack: I am at a loss for words! Help! Frawley” [Frawley Becker, dialogue coach]; “With Love for you Trudy von Trotha” [script supervisor]; “Viel Glück Wolfgang” [“Good luck” in German, Wolfgang Glattes, assistant director]. COLLECTION OF FOUR ROALD DAHL SIGNED LETTERS AND RELATED CORRESPONDENCE CONCERNING THE CREATION AND PROMOTION OF WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) Collection of four Roald Dahl signed letters and related correspondence concerning the creation and promotion of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. One of Dahl’s signed letters, dated November 23, 1971, serves as a formal agreement that, “the Daily Express shall be permitted to use up to a maximum of ten thousand words for serializing the screenplay of ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’…on condition that credit is given in each issue to the eff ect that the motion picture is based on the book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl…” Collection includes fi le copies of the Literary Purchase Agreement and Loanout Agreement between Roald Dahl and Wolper Pictures, Ltd. to gain the rights to Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and to secure Dahl to write the screenplay to the fi lm (82 pages), plus over 30 pages of fi le copies, carbon copies and related correspondence. Measuring approx. 14 ¼ in. x 12 in., at the top is a cardboard label reading, “Wolper Pictures Ltd 2101 WILLI WONKA Director: M. Stuart Camera: A. Ibbetson Souund : K. Ulrich.” Beneath is the chalkboard “slate” used for designating and marking particular scenes and takes in chalk (vestiges of the original white chalk still present). The hinged clapstick is present on the bottom with the signature black & white interleaved diagonal lines. HERO JOHNNY DEPP “WILLY WONKA” CANE FROM TIM BURTON’S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY WITH 1-SHEET POSTER - (Warner Bros., 2005) This hero walking cane is one of only a few canes commissioned by set designer Peter Young for Johnny Depp in his role as “Willy Wonka”. It measures 39 ¼ in. long and features a tapered, hollow spiral shaft fi lled with real edible sprinkles, a pointed black resin tip with aluminum trim rings, and spiral black & white acrylic ball head with aluminum and resin collar. This highly visible cane was screen used in three sequences including “The Welcome”, “The Chocolate Room”, and “The Boat” sequence as well as close shots when Depp is seen holding it. A unique and highly visible hero prop from the fi lm. Includes a Warner Bros. COA from Art Director Lew Tomkins.

HERO WONKA GOLDEN TICKET FROM TIM BURTON’S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. - (Warner Bros., 2005) An original hero Wonka “Golden Ticket” with serrated right and left edges. This is the key prop from the fi lm, as the fi nder of the Golden Ticket is granted admittance into Willy Wonka’s fabulous Chocolate Factory. Measures 7 in. x 3 ½ in. Originally acquired from a crewmember who worked on the production.

COLLECTION OF FIVE PROP WONKA CHOCOLATE BARS FROM TIM BURTON’S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. - (Warner Bros., 2005) Set of five Wonka chocolate bars: Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight, Chilly Chocolate Crème, Triple Dazzle Caramel and two Nutty Crunch Surprise. These foil-wrapped prop chocolate bars measure 3 ½ in. x 7 ¼ in. and are seen throughout the fi lm.

FOIL ADVANCE ONE-SHEET POSTER FOR SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE. - (Warner Bros., 1978) This is the fi rst foil/Mylar poster created for any studio for use in fi lm advertising. This poster was very rare even upon its fi rst release, as these were only given to the original playdate theaters. We believe that less than 1,000 of these were made, and this is one of the best surviving examples. It has never been folded. Made of foil on paper using an innovative manufacturing process. Instead of Superman’s standard red, yellow, and blue, the only color used on this poster is ice blue, intended as a tie-in with the Fortress of Solitude. Measures 25 ¾ in. x 39 ¼ in.

MARLON BRANDO COMPLETE SIGNATURE “JOR-EL” COSTUME FROM SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE. - (Warner Bros., 1978) Marlon Brando wore this amazing costume in his memorable role as Jor-El, the father of Superman. The costume consists of tunic with iconic “S” insignia with faux jewel detailing, sleeveless full-length robe with faux jewel detailing on the shoulders, pants and boots. The entire costume is layered with a luminous silver/gray refl ective material, which appears to glow when subjected to strong light. This ingenious costume eff ect was fi rst innovated in this production and used on all of the inhabitants of the planet Krypton providing a fantastic otherworldly appearance. Tunic, robe and boots have Bermans and Nathans labels typewritten “Marlon Brando Superman”. Comes with a Warner Bros. certifi cate of authenticity. Truly an iconic garment, worthy of inclusion in the fi nest collections.

SUSANNAH YORK “LARA” COSTUME FROM SUPERMAN:THE MOVIE - (Warner Bros., 1978) This is the incredible costume worn by Susannah York in her key role as Lara, mother of Superman. The two-piece costume consists of tunic, with faux jewel detailing around the collar, and pants each layered with a luminous silver/gray re ective material, which appears to glow when, subjected to strong light. This ingenious costume e ect was rst innovated in this production and used on all of the planet Krypton inhabitants providing a fantastic, otherworldly appearance. Both tunic and pants have Bermans and Nathans labels typewritten “Susannah York Superman”. The role York plays, as Lara is a very important and memorable one, being Superman’s mother and playing opposite Marlon Brando as “Jor-El”. Due to the nature of construction, the costume exhibits areas of wear, but these do not detract from its overall appearance. An iconic, instantly recognizable costume; a wonderful piece of Superman history.

CHRISTOPHER REEVE COMPLETE HERO SUPERMAN COSTUME FROM SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE. - (Warner Bros., 1978) This costume consists of a long-sleeve leotard of blue and red stretch jersey, with chest emblazoned with the trademark Superman “S” and an interior Bermans & Nathans label typed “Christopher Reeves 12186 Superman;” a pair of matching blue stretch nylon tights with interior Bermans & Nathans label typed “Christopher Reeve Colour A 18629;” a yellow-painted leather belt; a long fl owing cape of scarlet wool with padded shoulders and interior bias label handwritten “C. Reeve Colour B Walking,” the back having a yellow Superman “S” logo with black stitched borders; and a pair of knee-length red leather boots with zipper closures, each boot with Bermans & Nathans labels typed “Christopher Reeves 12188” and handwritten “Waterproof.” Red masking electrical tape is applied to the soles of the boots, most likely to prevent excessive wear during the production. The belt exhibits some cracking to the leather on the inside (non-visible) surface only, and the cape has some minor moth holes at the lower edge; otherwise, the entire costume is in pristine condition. The costume was originally acquired by a sub-contractor who worked as a set decorator and a special eff ects fl ying/rigging technician on the fi rst two Superman fi lms at Pinewood studios in London. Its ownership was later transferred to a makeup artist in Nashville, TN, whose letter of provenance will accompany this fantastic costume. Studio labeled throughout, this costume is without question, the fi nest original Christopher Reeve Superman costume we have ever encountered. Easily one of the most recognizable costumes in Hollywood history, it is the most important complete costume from this landmark fi lm ever brought to public auction.

CLARK KENT TRANSFORMATION SUIT WORN BY CHRISTOPHER REEVE IN SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE - (Warner Bros., 1978) Grey pinstripe, single-breasted suit jacket and pants. The jacket has an internal Bermans & Nathans label “Chris Reeves 12849 Superman.” The pants are purpose-split at the back near the waistband, most likely for attachment of a wire harness for this scene. Reeve wore this suit during the scene in which Lex Luthor summons him with a high-pitched broadcast that “only Superman can hear.” Clark Kent then secretly slips out of a window of the Daily Planet building, and while wearing this suit, streaks towards the ground and transforms into his Superman suit. A fantastic Christopher Reeve/ Clark Kent suit worn in one of the great scenes of the fi lm.

KRYPTONITE CRYSTAL FROM SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE. - (Warner Bros., 1978) This is the spectacular screen-used Kryptonite crystal prominently seen in the beginning of Superman: The Movie. In the movie, Jor-El (played by Marlon Brando) plucks the mythical green crystal from a nest of hollow crystals and places it in the infant Kal-El’s (baby Superman) pod before jettisoning his son away from danger, into space and ultimately to the safety of Earth. This 9 ½ in. long crystal is cast of clear, emerald-green resin. This iconic piece of Superman lore comes with it’s own foam fitted anvil carrying case with attached engraved metal plaque, which reads, “Original Kryptonite Crystal used in Superman”.

SPECIAL EFFECTS SCHOOL BUS FROM SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE - (Warner Bros., 1978) Miniature yellow school bus measuring approx. 38 in. long fabricated from wood, styrene plastic and metal, meticulously hand-painted and detailed with weathered eff ects and small fi gurines inside. The bus has solid rubber tires, and is wired with two switches to illuminate (untested). Used in the sequence when Superman saves the bus from going over the edge of the Golden Gate Bridge in Superman: The Movie.

SCREEN-USED KRYPTONITE CRYSTAL AND BOX FROM SUPERMAN III. - (Warner Bros., 1983) Green resin “crystal” formation of the crippling mineral “Kryptonite,” Superman’s only weakness. Measuring 12 in. long and 6 in. tall, this particular prop can be positively screen-matched to the scene where Christopher Reeve is shown cradling the piece in his hands, as a small imperfection on one edge is clearly visible. Includes a dark wood box with polished brass fi ttings and measuring approx. 12 in. x 12 in. x 8 in. The box was used by Richard Pryor “Gus Gorman” in disguise as an army general to deliver his “synthetic Kryptonite” to Superman at the Smallville town fair. For display purposes, a light was installed at the bottom of the box to illuminate the Kryptonite. CHRISTOPHER REEVE SCREEN-WORN “CLARK KENT” SUIT FROM SUPERMAN III - (Warner Bros., 1983) Christopher Reeve “Clark Kent” costume from Superman III. This Christopher Reeve complete “Clark Kent” costume consists of a navy blue pinstriped suit jacket, pants and vest. The jacket, vest and pants all have internal Bermans & Nathans labels; “Christopher Reeve Superman 3”.

PROP DAILY PLANET NEWSPAPER FROM SUPERMAN II - (Warner Bros., 1980) Prop Daily Planet newspaper with headline in large bold letters: “White House Surrenders.” Features a picture of General Zod. Measures approx. 17 in. x 23 in. In Excellent condition.

PRODUCER ILYA SALKIND’S PERSONAL SCRIPT FOR SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE - (Warner Bros., 1978) 247pp, original dark blue studio covers with gilt lettered Superman. This revised script dated July, 1976 was the personal script of producer Ilya Salkind, and is signed by Salkind on the title page. From Ilya Salkind’s personal collection.

ORIGINAL PAINTING “SUPERMAN’S CHEST” BY STEVE KAUFMAN - Original 15 in. x 19 in. painting by Steve Kaufman, accomplished in acrylic on canvas, depicting the iconic “S” Superman emblem being exposed while Clark Kent opens his shirt to become his “Man of Steel” alter ego. The image is signed with black felt-tip pen “SAK”, on the back.

ATOM MAN VS. SUPERMAN “CHAPTER ONE” ONE-SHEET POSTER. - (Columbia, 1950) Shortly before George Reeves would make Superman a household name on television, Kirk Alyn was the fi rst actor to physically embody the comic book super-hero on screen, in two sequential 15-chapter serials, this being the second, which fans rate as even better than the fi rst. Typical for a Chapter 1 poster for serials, this extremely rare example contains not only what is arguably the fi nest full-color art rendition of the most famous comic book super-hero of all time, it more importantly is the only variation we are aware of which features an inset photo of Superman fl ying over Metropolis, as each chapter release would off er diff erent artwork (most which have surfaced over the years do not even show Superman in the inset section). Colors are beautifully rich and bright with no evidence of fading whatever; this is an older restoration, performed correctly for the time with some professional brush painting to border and fold wear, and paper (as is typical for Columbia at this time period) is slightly age-toned, which could easily be corrected with a new conservation. On linen, with linen selvage neatly trimmed to poster edge; Very Good to Fine overall.

ORIGINAL “SUPERMEN OF AMERICA” FAN CLUB MATERIALS. - An original “Supermen of America” fan club packet. Begun in 1939, this club continued into the 1960s. Comic readers could send away to Action Comics Headquarters in New York and receive this membership packet which includes a Supermen of America membership certifi cate pledging new members to, “do everything possible to increase his or her STRENGTH and COURAGE, to aid the cause of JUSTICE, to keep absolutely SECRET the SUPERMAN CODE, and to follow the announcements of the SUPERMEN OF AMERICA in each issue of ACTION COMICS and SUPERMAN”. The certifi cate is printed with Clark Kent’s signature (over parenthetical “Superman”). Also included are a printed letter of congratulations to the new member, a secret “Superman Code” decoder chart and a Supermen of America pin. The certifi cate is made out to Gregory Duehren of Cincinnati and young Gregory has also diligently fi lled out the address portion of the decoder chart in pencil. Original Supermen of America transmittal envelope is included. All are in Excellent condition.

SUPERMAN-RELATED LETTER WITH HAND-DRAWN AND SIGNED SKETCH OF “THE MAN OF STEEL” BY CREATOR JOE SHUSTER - The typed letter is on “Superman Inc.” letterhead stationery, dated January 4, 1945 and written to “Jordan Derwin, 1010 West 74th Street, New York City (23), N.Y.” The letter states (in full): “Dear Jordan: I didn’t promise when – but Joe Shuster was in the office the early part of this week and I prevailed upon his good nature and had him draw a special sketch of Superman and dedicate it to you. Mr. Shuster sends his best wishes for the New Year and asks that I thank you for your interest in ‘Superman’. We both hope you continue and enjoy the adventures of this favorite comic strip character as much in the future as you have in the past. Sincerely, Superman, Inc. [signed by secretary] (for) Joe Shuster”. Accompanying the letter is a profi le sketch, executed in pencil on a 3 ½ in. x 5 ½ in. heavy stock card, of Superman depicting him from the waist up with bulging muscles and his trademark cape; beneath Shuster has inscribed in ink, “To Jordan--One of my favorite readers. Joe Shuster”. Accompanied with the original “Superman Inc.” transmittal envelope. A fantastic vintage ensemble from the co-creator of the most popular superhero in the world. In fi ne condition.

1940S KELLOGG’S PEP CEREAL BOX AND PROMOTIONAL POSTER WITH SUPERMAN AND TOM BRENEMAN - (1940s) Lot consists of an original cereal box of Kellogg’s Pep cereal featuring an original Superman comic story on the back “Superman and the Super-Rocket Bomb”, as well as a promotional 22 in. x 32 in. double-sided poster from Kellogg’s that was given to stores to promote and encourage them to stock more Pep cereal. The poster features Superman and popular radio show host Tom Breneman who hosted the “Breakfast in Hollywood” radio show. Vibrant colors and in Excellent condition.

EDITION OF THE FIRST SUPERHERO NOVELIZATION: “THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN” - This is a 1st Edition of “The Adventures of Superman”, the fi rst novelization of a comic book character. Published by Random House in 1942. Written by George Lowther who fi rst provided many now-familiar details of Superman’s birth and early life. The fi rst two chapters provide the fi rst detailed description of Superman’s planet of origin, Krypton. The next three chapters deal with Clark Kent’s childhood on Earth on the farm of his adoptive parents. In the sixth chapter, Clark arrives in Metropolis and gets a job with the Daily Planet. The remaining eleven chapters deal with a mystery involving ghost ships and Nazi spies. The book is illustrated with four full-page color illustrations, six full-page black & white illustrations, and numerous sketches, all by Superman co-creator Joe Shuster. Contemporary owner signature on inside leaf and small bookseller ink stamp. The book is in Fine condition with some edge wear, light chipping, a closed tear at the front seam of the vivid full color dust jacket.

FOUR (4) KELLOGG’S PEP AND CORN FLAKES SUPERMAN CEREAL BOXES AND PEP CEREAL SUPERMAN PROMOTION. - (1940s-1950s) Lot includes (2) 1940s Kellogg’s Pep cereal boxes with Superman comic strips on the back, as well as a retailer promo fl yer for Pep cereal. Also (2) 1956 Kellogg’s Corn Flakes boxes with off ers for a Superman belt on back, and Norman Rockwell images on the front.

1950S SUPERMAN KELLOGG’S CORN FLAKES CARDBOARD STORE DISPLAY. - Rare 1950s cardboard cutout store display approx. 33 ½ in. x 13 in. featuring a boldly colored illustration of Superman flying while holding a box of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. The cutout comes beautifully displayed in a custom shadow box-style frame. The cutout shows extensive professional restoration with airbrushing throughout; one wing of the famous red cape may have been replaced; exhibits edge wear and staining on the upper tip of the cereal box.

GEORGE REEVES “SUPERMAN” CAPE FROM THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN - (NBC-TV, 1952-1958) “It’s a bird, It’s a plane…” For many Baby Boomers and younger fans all over the world, there is only one authentic “Man of Steel”…George Reeves as “Superman.” This original red cloth cape from the early 1950s TV Superman series comes with a notarized copy of a letter of authenticity from Western Costume Company dated in 1975. The red cloth Superman patch is a vintage 1970s replica created by Western Costume to complete the cape. A fantastic original costume piece from the classic TV Superman.

JIM CARREY “RIDDLER” SIGNATURE “QUESTION MARK” COSTUME, GREEN BOWLER HAT AND GOLD CANE FROM BATMAN FOREVER - (Warner Bros., 1995) This instantly identifi able costume worn by Jim Carrey in his portrayal of Batman’s nemesis, “The Riddler” in Batman Forever. The one-piece neon green bodysuit (mild discoloration in some areas due to production use) is emblazoned with numerous question marks, The Riddler’s trademark. Includes green bowler hat with large question mark motif to front. The costume is completed by The Riddler’s signature gold 38 in. cane made of metallic gold-painted resin shaft and rubber question mark handle. This highly identifi able character ensemble is an important landmark in the Riddler’s modern incarnation.

IM CARREY SIGNATURE “RIDDLER” WHITE RHINESTONE UNITARD AND GLITTER-COVERED CREEPERS WITH ILLUMINATED SKULL CANE FROM BATMAN FOREVER - (Warner Bros., 1995) This incredible, signature rhinestone unitard was worn by Jim Carrey in his convincing role as Batman’s nemesis, Edward Nigma - the Riddler. The costume is covered in thousands of multicolored rhinestones and rhinestone-covered question marks. This incredible costume weighs fi ve pounds! It also includes a pair of green and silver glitter-covered creeper shoes. Together with the hero illuminated skull cane constructed of sturdy reinforced resin and capped by a metalized gold skull adorned with green faux emerald eyes and large gem set in forehead. The eyes illuminate via a small switch on the base of the skull (currently not working but could easily be repaired). A rare and instantly recognizable hero prop from the fi lm, this being the first cane of this style we’ve ever encountered. Unitard and shoes are accompanied by Warner Bros. certifi cates of authenticity.

A ¼ SCALE BATMOBILE MINIATURE FROM BATMAN RETURNS - (Warner Bros., 1992) Of the modern Batman fi lms, many consider the Michael Keaton-era Batmobile to be the most faithful and fi nest rendition of the fantastic gadgetized do-everything car used by the caped crusader. The long nose and stylized wings on back certainly share their roots with the original 1941 comic fantasy by Bob Kane. This 1:4 scale Batmobile fi lming miniature was used in the sequence in Batman Returns when it displays the capability of shedding its fenders, retracting its wheels and becoming the “Batmissile” capable of traversing tight alleyways. Two unique miniatures were created for this scene; this is the “phase 1” version used when the Batmobile initially blows off its front fenders (the “phase 2” was a detailed Batmissile with fenders added). This miniature measures about 60 inches long and 21 inches wide and the body is crafted of fi berglass with wooden and metal elements in the substructure. The front fenders are removable via pull wire mechanisms underneath for popping them off during fi lming. In addition, the driving compartment cover is in two halves, with additional removable center sections. There are air hose nozzles inside the driving compartment that blew off the two center sections, then another pull wire from the back of the car would close the compartment covers together, making it narrower, to represent the way it looks for the Batmissile eff ect. During fi lming, in order to get the camera in closer, the back half of the wings were cut off . They have been restored and reattached on rods. As can be seen in behind the scenes set photos, the vehicle never had rear wheels, as all fi lming was done from behind and overhead. The miniature was damaged during fi lming when the various pieces such as the fenders were launched, and the same modelers and artisans who built it for the fi lm carefully restored the vehicle to its screen appearance. A detailed video was created following the entire restoration process and is included with the lot. This fantastic screen-used Batmobile fi lming miniature is one of the most iconic pieces to own from the entire Batman franchise.

MICHAEL KEATON COMPLETE “BATMAN” COSTUME FROM BATMAN RETURNS - (Warner Bros., 1992) This impressive costume includes the original “armored” rubber body suit, boots, gauntlet gloves with serrated “fins”, rubberized cape, and of course the iconic “Batman” cowl. The overall body suit and cowl and left knee and other stress areas exhibit deterioration of the foam latex, common for costume pieces of this age, as well as significant cracking to the boots. This is a complete costume from head-to-toe, with the zippered closure in the back to allow entry for Keaton. The entire costume is mounted on a custom display with a life cast of Michael Keaton, and stands over six feet tall. A rare costume from this film, which is now considered a classic in the superhero genre.

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF BATMAN AND ROBIN 1-SHEET POSTER. - (Columbia, 1949). One Sheet (27 in. x 41 in.) Chapter 9 -- “The Wizard Strikes Back”. In this thrilling 15-chapter serial, Batman and Robin are on a crusade to stop the dastardly Wizard, a masked villain with a device that runs on stolen diamonds and can remotely control all machines. This was the second serial to feature the Caped Crusader and Boy Wonder, here portrayed by Robert Lowery and John Duncan. For superhero fans, this rarely seen one-sheet with incredible images of Batman and Robin is one not to miss. On linen with restoration at the folds and touch up of horizontal fold on pink inset. Fine on Linen.

1966 BATMAN WALL POSTER - 1960s era 27 in. x 40 in. heavy paper wall poster of Batman being mauled by a ghost. The “Caped Crusader” is striking an action pose with a speech bubble declaring, “Nonsense! There are no such things as – UGH!” The two-color poster is made by G & F Posters under license of National Periodical Publications Inc., 1966. The poster is clean with only minimal discoloration from age on edges. Otherwise, in Excellent condition.

AURORA BATMOBILE SLOT CAR - 3 in. x 1 in. Aurora “Item #1385-3.49” mini-Batmobile slot car. The miniature car is highly detailed with a body made of glossy black plastic, red pin-striping on sides, red bat insignia on doors and red painted police light on top. Clear plastic dome bubble top and silver metallic details. Mechanics on the undercarriage features prominent copper contacts for electrical slot car track powering. Mint condition in clear plastic box with yellow end caps. Comes with original maintenance instructions.

AURORA BATPLANE MODEL KIT MINT IN BOX - Aurora Batplane Model Kit in original shrink-wrapped box. In the mid 1960s, at the peak of the TV classic Batman’s popularity, Aurora Models produced a series of snap and glue plastic kits inspired by the campy series and the DC Comics. This Batplane was originally released in 1966 and has been treasured by collectors for over 40 years. This kit is in Mint condition and sealed in its original colorful box.

The brightly colored orange, green and blue printed ad features pop comic art in the style of the Batman TV show opening credits. Batman and Robin run with superhero capes streaming behind them. XAVIER INSTITUTE SIGN FROM X-2 AND PATRICK STEWART SIGNED XAVIER SCHOOL PORTFOLIO FROM X-MEN - (TCF, 2003) Constructed of coated bead foam with thin metal face attached, hand painted and detailed to appear weathered and oxidized. This sign was made for the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. It measures 14 in. diameter and is mounted on a wooden display stand. Includes a 13 in. x 10½ in. portfolio with plastic snap closure and carrying handle visible in the X-Men scene when Storm is teaching class and Bobby makes an ice rose for Rogue. The fl ap of the portfolio has a 3 ½ in. round “Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters” sticker affi xed. The portfolio is signed boldly in silver pen by Patrick Stewart.

HUGH JACKMAN “WOLVERINE” DOG TAG DISPLAY FROM X-2. - (TCF, 2003) Pair of signature hero dog tags worn by Hugh Jackman as “Wolverine” in X-2. Each dog tag is stamped “458 25 243 WOLVERINE”. Accompanied by a signed photograph of Jackman as Wolverine and framed together in a custom matte X-Men 2 display.

HUGH JACKMAN “WOLVERINE” HERO CLAWS FROM X2: X-MEN UNITED. - (TCF, 2003) This is a paired set of Wolverine hero claws worn by Hugh Jackman in the second X-Men fi lm of the trilogy – X2: X-Men United. The only hero set released by the studio, this pair is comprised of padded grips with studio writing, curved metal and internal supports, and hard plastic/resin blades. These are the most detailed version of the claws produced (as opposed to rubber bladed stunt claws), with great attention to detail for use in close-up and non-stunt shots. The claws have become the most recognizable of all props and costumes from the three X-Men fi lms, and are the iconic representation of the most popular X-Men character from both the fi lm and comic books: Wolverine. The claws are now synonymous with the fi lms, appearing on marketing collateral, onesheet posters, and other promotional material. Many argue that Wolverine is the only superhero created within the last 35 years to have reached the same status as classic heroes of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s such as Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man. The claws, when worn, give the illusion that they are razor sharp blades protruding from the tops of the wearer’s hands by virtue of an angled handle that rests fl ush against the upper palm of the hand, with a system of curved metal supports that wrap around the knuckles and up to the blades themselves. These magnifi cent props have incredible provenance and paperwork. Lauren Shuler Donner, producer of all fi ve X-Men fi lms (as well as two other X-Men fi lms currently under development), donated these props to her charity, Hollygrove, for auction some years ago. Shuler Donner is one of the most successful and prolifi c producers in Hollywood. To date, her fi lms have grossed approximately $2 billion and counting. The paperwork accompanying this set includes an offi cial Certifi cate of Authenticity from Hollygrove (www.Hollygrove.org) signed by Lauren Schuler Donner as well as a personal letter from Shuler Donner, on The Donner’s Company letterhead, stating, “ hese claws were made for and used by Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in X2”. This is a rare and singular opportunity to acquire THE prop from the most critically acclaimed of the three X-Men fi lms (focused on the origin of Wolverine), with peerless provenance and paperwork.

JAMES MARSDEN “CYCLOPS” VISOR FROM X-MEN: THE LAST STAND. - (TCF, 2006) A beautifully crafted prop costume piece constructed from resin and featuring a mirrored plastic eye shield with stylized “X” logo and fi xed focus adjustment dials on the temples. This design diff ers from the eye shields used in X-Men and X-2. Due to actor Marsden’s contractual obligations to Superman Returns, “Cyclops” was killed off early in the fi lm so this piece was ultimately not seen on screen, but it was used extensively in the promotional material for the fi lm including the one-sheet poster and DVD cover. Presented on a custom display stand.

KELSEY GRAMMAR “BEAST” XAVIER’S SCHOOL GRADUATION RING FROM X-MEN: THE LAST STAND - (TCF, 2006) Gold metal graduation ring worn by Kelsey Grammer as “Dr. Henry McCoy/Beast” in X-Men: The Last Stand. It is stamped with large prominent “X” as well as “Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters”. A small clasp on the band allows the ring to fi t on Kelsey Grammer’s thick prosthetic fi nger.

ORIGINAL TOM JUNG FINAL CONCEPT DRAWING FOR STAR WARS: EPISODE IV – A NEW HOPE STYLE A ONE-SHEET POSTER. - (TCF, 1977) Final finished conceptual drawing in pencil, 18 ½ in. x 24 in., by Tom Jung for the creation of the Star Wars “Style A” poster – considered the most famous of all the Star Wars posters. This is a revised version of the original drawing (a copy of which is included on foam board), which shows a provocative Leia that the studio thought was too sexy. The fi nal version featured a toned-down Leia and the addition of R2-D2 and C-3PO. Tom Jung signs both pieces at the lower right. Tom Jung, working for the advertising agency of Smolen, Smith and Connolly, was chosen to work on Star Wars based on his reputation as a designer of one-sheet posters for a number of important fi lms, including Dr. Zhivago and the 1966 re-release of Gone With the Wind. He was given the theme of “Good Over Evil,” and provided with a massive amount of photos taken by unit photographers in color and black & white, as well as 2¼ in. stills on contact sheets taken from the original 35mm print of the fi lm. According to Jung, the unlikely “cross” formed by Luke Skywalker’s saber sword set against the ghosted background image of Darth Vader seemed to him like a good solution to the “good” versus “evil” theme. With the addition of a fl eet of X-Wing fi ghters attacking the Death Star, he created one of the most enduring cinematic images of the past 50 years. From the collection of motion picture illustrator Tom Jung and originally sold in Profi les in History’s Auction 24 held March 31, 2006.

PETER MAYHEW ORIGINAL “CHEWBACCA” HEAD FROM STAR WARS. - (TCF, 1977) The most loveable and loyal character throughout the entire Star Wars saga is Chewbacca, the Wookiee who owed a life debt to Han Solo and allied himself with his nomadic friend/smuggler in Star Wars. “Chewie” soon became the most consistent and dependable collaborator in the Rebel Alliance. Portrayed by the 7 ft. 3 in. British actor Peter Mayhew, Chewbacca’s stature and distinctive mane of long brown hair made him an instant celebrity character, and his heroic rescues throughout the series have given him a special place in the hearts of Star Wars fans the world over. Off ered here is the fi nest full costume headpiece of Chewbacca from the original trilogy in private hands. It consists of a screen-used cowl hairpiece (which encompasses the entire head), and a period-made Stuart Freeborn facial appliance. Judging by the construction of the cowl, it was also most likely used in more than one of the original fi lms of the trilogy. The facial appliance is attached to the cowl and mounted on a period Stuart Freeborn foam Chewbacca head so that the display retains its screen-used appearance. The foam head was originally made by Freeborn to support the facial appliances while they were prepared for fi lming on the set. The front jaw, mouth, nose, teeth and tongue that comprise the facial appliance are original period pieces made for the production by Stuart Freeborn, and have been reassembled for the display. The eyes are actual casts of Peter Mayhew’s closed eyes, taken directly from the lifecast that Freeborn made for the trilogy. With these pieces, the facial appliance has been professionally fi nished with original period “Wookiee” hair acquired for Return of the Jedi by Freeborn in 1981. Of particular note, this Wookiee hair was personally marked by Freeborn as “eyebrow”, “lower eye”, “cheeks”, etc. so that it could be perfectly placed on Mayhew for continuity during his make-up sittings – and has now been seamlessly mated with the original costume pieces, making this the fi nest screen-correct Chewbacca costume head from the Star Wars trilogy known to exist. Included are signed photographs by Stuart Freeborn and Peter Mayhew.

1977 ORIGINAL STAR WARS PROGRAM SIGNED BY SEVERAL CAST AND CREW. - (TCF, 1977) An 8 in. x 10 in. blue heavy-stock paper folded program containing lists of credits for technical crew and miniature and optical eff ects unit. The cast is credited on the back cover. This program has been signed in silver pen by Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Bob Anderson (the fi lm’s swordmaster), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Gary Kurtz (producer), Garrick Hagon (Biggs), Richard Le Parmentier (Gen. Motti), Paul Blake (Greedo) and an unidentifi ed actor signature who played a Jawa.

ORIGINAL SCREEN-USED HERO E-11 STORMTROOPER BLASTER FROM STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE. - (TCF, 1977) The E-11 blaster is the standard weapon of the Imperial Stormtroopers due to its compact size and formidable fi re power. This screen-used hero Stormtrooper Blaster is one of the “live” weapons used during fi lming of Star Wars. Bapty & Co., the legendary British movie weapon makers/suppliers, based this weapon on a British Sterling submachine gun which was dressed for the studio. Loaded with blank ammunition during the production, it produced realistic smoke and recoil eff ects when fi red, making the actors look as though they were actually fi ring laser bolts. Following the weapon’s use in Star Wars, Bapty removed the studio dressing t-shaped polymer “vent fi ns” that span the length of the barrel as well as the scope and scope rail. A vintage replacement scope was fi tted with a replicated rail and vent fi ns returning this weapon to its screen appearance. Comes with the original deactivation certifi cate issued when the weapon was rendered non-fi ring. A rare piece of original Star Wars screen-used weaponry.

MARK HAMILL HERO TATOOINE LONG RIFLE USED AS “LUKE SKYWALKER” IN STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE - (TCF, 1977) This hero rifl e was used by Mark Hamill in his historic role as “Luke Skywalker” in Star Wars. It can be seen in the early part of the saga strapped to the side of Luke’s Landspeeder, when Luke and C-3PO search for R2-D2 prior to meeting Obi-Wan Kenobi for the fi rst time. Luke also used it prominently as he defends himself in the thrilling hand-tohand battle with the Tuscan Raider, before Obi-Wan saves him. The rifl e is hand-carved from solid wood with metal banding, and the barrel portion has been painted silver to resemble steel. This exact weapon can be seen in armory photographs at Bapty & Co., who supplied the majority of the blasters and other weaponry for Star Wars during the early production period. Measures fully 76 ½ in. long. The rifl e exhibits some minor wear and a small chip to the corner of the stock, and appears to be missing one of the metal pieces on the side; otherwise, the rifl e is in very good condition. Originally acquired over sixteen years ago from Bapty & Co. An instantly recognizable hero prop from the fi lm.

SCREEN-USED HERO FIRING STORMTROOPER DLT-19 HEAVY BLASTER RIFLE FROM STAR WARS: EPISODE IV – A NEW HOPE. - (TCF, 1977) In the rst groundbreaking Star Wars lm the Imperial Stormtroopers (as well as the Sandtroopers on Tatooine) can be seen armed with large DLT- 19 heavy blasters which have superior range over the smaller blasters used by the majority of the Imperial forces. This spectacular weapon is based on a World War II-era German MG 34 machine gun (now deactivated) crafted of heavy steel, measuring approx. 48 in. in length., and features a fold-down, footed stand and wooden stock. At the time of lming, Bapty & Co., the legendary British movie weapon makers/suppliers for over 90 years, supplied the weapons for Star Wars and only had four live ring MG 34’s, all of which can be seen on a gun rack in the communications room on the Death Star. This is one of two weapons possessing a Bakelite stock unique to the DLT-19 that Chewbacca res in the detention block, giving this weapon a 50% chance of being used by Chewbacca in the famous jail break scene during Princess Leia’s bold rescue! Following the weapon’s use in Star Wars, Bapty removed the studio dress t-shaped polymer “vent ns” that span the length of the barrel. Still bearing the marks from where the original dressing resided, expertly replicated strips were crafted and installed returning this weapon to its screen appearance. This represents the only Star Wars DLT-19 heavy blaster ever o ered at public auction and it is accompanied with a custom made stand metal stand for display. Comes with the original deactivation certi cate issued when the weapon was rendered non- ring. An incredibly impressive and rare piece from the beloved Star Wars franchise. COMPLETE STORMTROOPER TOUR COSTUME FROM STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - A NEW HOPE. - (TCF, 1977) This set of Stormtrooper armor was commissioned by Twentieth Century-Fox for the 1997 theatrical re-release of the Star Wars Special Edition feature lm in Europe. This complete set of armor is one of only thirty made for the promotion, and was made by O world E ects at Elstree Studios, London. Extremely accurate, it was cast from an original Stormtrooper costume used in the Star Wars lms. By the end of the tour only fteen of the original thirty sets of armor survived. These costumes formed part of the display at the Royal Charity Performance of Star Wars in London, England. Small crack in the groin area (visible in the catalog image), otherwise in good condition overall. Also accompanied with a resin Stormtrooper blaster. Special shipping arrangements apply.

STAR WARS: EPISODE IV – A NEW HOPE CONTRACT SIGNED BY GEORGE LUCAS AND STEVEN SPIELBERG. - (TCF, 1977) 2 page typed agreement, undated, between George Lucas, “The Star Wars Corporation,” and Steven Spielberg, “Amblin’ Productions, Inc.” The agreement states that Amblin’ has an exclusive employment agreement with Spielberg, and for providing certain consulting on the Star Wars fi lm, is entitled to a sum equal to 1% of 100% of the net profits. Signed by George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and cosigned by the Vice President of Amblin’ Productions, Inc. Housed in a black wood frame with linen mat measuring 15 in. x 31 in.

Standee exhibits handling with crease at upper right and some soiling on white margin below. Of the three inserts, (1) exhibits minor handling with no pinholes; (2) inserts exhibit handling with pinholes, one of which has a small 2 in. x 2 ½ in. sticker affi xed at the lower right.

STAR WARS “EARLY BIRD CERTIFICATE PACKAGE” - (TCF, 1977) The Star Wars “Early Bird Certificate Package” was an opportunity to profi t from pre-Christmas sales in 1977 of the fi rst Kenner action fi gures modeled after the characters of the smash hit movie. The special display envelope package contains: colorful Star Wars picture display stand, special Star Wars club membership card and little plastic pegs to secure fi gures on the stand. The Early Bird Certifi cate, and the Star Wars stickers are missing. Designed to be sold prior to December 31, 1977. This package exhibits some scuffi ng and creases; the package has been opened from the side. Rare to fi nd this desirable and early piece of Star Wars merchandise.

2 STAR WARS KID’S COSTUMES IN BOX AND 2 MINT, UNUSED LUNCH BOXES - (TCF, 1977) This Star Wars collection includes (1) Chewbacca and (1) C-3PO Ben Cooper brand vintage costume and mask sets. Masks are lightweight molded plastic with elastic band to hold in place on head. Costumes are one-piece, fl ame retardant fabric and vinyl printed with character features and Star Wars logo with hospital gown type ties in the back collar of the costumes. Both unused costumes are mint in their original boxes. Included in this collection are two unused metal lunch boxes. (1) Empire Strikes Back and (1) Return Of The Jedi. Both with “Flip-n-Sip” matching thermos. Both in mint condition.

STAR WARS “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” STYLE ONE-SHEET POSTER - (TCF, 1977) 27 in. x 41 in. “Birthday Cake” 1978 re-issue poster. A year after its original release, Star Wars was still running strong in theaters across the U.S. To celebrate this milestone, these theaters were presented with this special “Happy Birthday” one-sheet. Given the normal attrition rate, and with fewer than 1500 of these printed, they have always been extremely diffi cult to obtain in a decent grade. This unrestored example is rolled and virtually unhandled except for mounting tape present at upper margin on verso. Fine.

STAR WARS: EPISODE V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK INTERGALACTIC PASSPORT GRANTING ACCESS TO FILM SETS AND STAGES IN ENGLAND - (TCF, 1980) These passports were handed out to VIPs visiting the sets of The Empire Strikes Back at Elstree Studios in England. Only approx. 200 of these numbered passports were given out, and the fi rst few examples were retained. No.1 was given to Gary Kurtz, No.3 was given to George Lucas and the rest of the fi rst 10 were kept in Gary Kurtz’s archive. The passport features faux “stamps” for Mos Eisley, Tatooine, Corellia, Utupau, and other locales in the Star Wars universe. Method of travel is listed as “X-Wing Fighter”. Comes directly from the Kurtz Archives accompanied by a vintage Star Wars: the Empire Strikes Back business card.

ORIGINAL TOM JUNG CONCEPT ARTWORK FOR THE STAR WARS: EPISODE V - THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK RE-RELEASE ONE-SHEET POSTER. - (TCF, R-1981) Original concept artwork by Tom Jung for the Summer, 1981 re-release of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, accomplished in pencil on an 18 in. x 24 in. leaf of artist’s vellum. This is very close to the fi nal design used on the poster, with all of the design elements present in this concept that appeared in the poster. Also includes the re-release one-sheet poster (folded) for the fi lm. From the collection of motion picture illustrator Tom Jung and originally sold in Profi les in History’s Auction 25 held July 28, 2006.

STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI SCRIPT - (TCF, 1983) Second draft script, 102pp, dated December 19, 1982, with original Twentieth Century-Fox cover.

EWAN MCGREGOR “OBI-WAN KENOBI” LIGHTSABER FROM STAR WARS: EPISODE 1– THE PHANTOM MENACE - (TCF, 1999) This beautifully-crafted resin light saber hilt is handpainted in silver with black accents and a central red static switch and gold knob, used by McGregor in character for his thrilling light saber duels throughout the fi lm, including the spectacular fight near the end of the fi lm with Darth Maul after Qui-Gon is killed. The top of the saber retains the 5 in. screw bolt fitting onto which the 39 in. long painted aluminum rod is attached, as confi gured for the fi lming of the fi ght sequences (saber “illumination”added post-production). The hilt measures 11 in. long (overall length with blade is 50 in.) Comes with a letter of authenticity from the crew member who obtained it following the production.

HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN “ANAKIN SKYWALKER” LIGHTSABER FROM STAR WARS: EPISODE II– ATTACK OF THE CLONES - (TCF, 2002) This is a complete fi ghting lightsaber used by actor Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. Anakin Skywalker wields this particular lightsaber during his escape from the Execution Arena on the planet Geonosis as well as during his climactic lightsaber duel with Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Tyranus (also known as Count Dooku) played by veteran actor Christopher Lee. The painted resin hilt measures 10 in. long and has a protruding screw bolt fi tting onto which the 38 in. long painted aluminum rod is attached, as confi gured for the fi lming of the fight sequences (saber “illumination” added postproduction). The vast majority of these aluminum “blade” rods were either destroyed from dueling or discarded following the production. Having this hilt with its corresponding blade is a true rarity. In addition, this is the only Hayden Christensen “Anakin Skywalker” lightsaber prop we have handled from either of the two Star Wars Prequel films.

LIAM NEESON STUNT LIGHTSABER USED AS “QUI-GON JINN” IN STAR WARS: EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE - (TCG, 1999) This beautifully-crafted resin lightsaber hilt is hand-painted in black with silver accents, and a central red static “switch,” used by Neeson in character for his thrilling lightsaber duels throughout the fi lm. The top of the lightsaber still retains 3/8 in. of the original 6 in. rigging rod upon which the 37 ½ in. painted aluminum rod was secured for fi lming the fi ght sequences. Measures approx. 11 ¼ in. long. Comes with a letter of provenance form the collector who originally purchased the piece from a crew technician who acquired the piece after the stunt blade broke off during fi lming and could no longer be used.

STAR WARS COMIC ISSUE #1 - Star Wars 1 is the fi rst issue of the Marvel Star Wars series of comic books. It closely follows the opening events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. This is a CGC 9.6 graded and encapsulated copy of this fi rst ever comic.

STAR WARS “STYLE D” ONE-SHEET POSTER - (20th Century Fox, 1977) 27 in. x 41 in. style D (a.k.a. “Circus” poster) for the 1978 re-release of Star Wars. This unique artwork was a collaboration between Drew Struzan and Charles White III. A folded unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance with minor handling. Fine.

STAR WARS “21 ACTION FIGURE” BELL-SHAPED HANGER DISPLAY - “Star Wars Action Figures Collect All 21” bell-shaped cardboard hanger display. This color display measures approx. 20 in. x 18 in. and exhibits all the fi gures from the original Kenner Star Wars line. It is double-sided showing the same image on each side. Minor bump on lower right edge, otherwise, in very good condition with very bright colors. Matted on linen in a wooden shadowbox frame.

It comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is number 303 of 500 pieces. A solid plate lithograph of Skywalker as adapted from the pages of the original Star Wars comic art of Al Williamson. This lithograph is accomplished utilizing a painstaking continuous- tone printing process that produces pure color without the familiar dot pattern found in other lithography.

STAR WARS “STYLE A” TRI-FOLD ONE-SHEET POSTER. - (20th Century Fox, 1977) 27 in. x 41 in. tri-fold “style A”. Lower right bears “77/21-0” indicating the poster being a fi rst printing. An unrestored example of the iconic poster for this groundbreaking science fiction epic featuring artwork by Tom Jung. This tri-fold poster (no vertical folds) is unrestored and appears virtually unused. Very Fine.

ORIGINAL TRIBBLE FROM STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES EPISODE: “THE TROUBLE WITH TRIBBLES” - (NBC-TV, 1966-1969) A large Tribble made of reddish-brown faux fur and measuring approx. 5 in. in diameter. The Tribble was originally stuff ed with pieces of foam rubber, which have mostly crumbled to dust. The exterior remains in Excellent condition with no signs of deterioration. The adorable, purring Tribbles were introduced to Captain Kirk’s crew on the starship Enterprise in one of the most memorable and popular episodes in the original series Star Trek legacy, “The Trouble With Tribbles” (1967).

ORIGINAL MATT JEFFERIES CONCEPT SKETCH OF THE KLINGON BATTLE CRUISER FOR STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES. - (NBC-TV, 1966- 69) This ink drawing shows the Klingon Battle cruiser in an early, developmental stage, when Jeff eries was attempting to come up with a fi tting design for what would become one of the most famous spaceships in television history. Accomplished in black ink on an 8½ in. x 11 in. sheet, with notations, “and hawk’s talons” and “Reverse belly curve – think Manta Ray”. Signed by Jeff eries at the lower right.

WILLIAM SHATNER STARFLEET WRIST COMMUNICATOR FROM STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE. - (Paramount, 1979) This original prop armband-style wrist communicator is cast in resin with a metal band, and painted crème with black detailing with refl ective strip affi xed to the top. Inside armband has written in light pen, “Kirk”. Made by Brick Price, this is one of few hero pieces that were fabricated from resin; all of the similar watches made for background personnel were made of vacuum-formed plastic. Minor crack on the edge, which is virtually unnoticeable and does not aff ect the overall presentation. Original inside foam padding on the wrist, has deteriorated; otherwise, in Very good condition for its age. An excellent Starfl eet prop from Shatner’s re-emergence as the venerable Capt. Kirk, newly promoted to Admiral!

THE MAKING OF STAR TREK FIRST EDITION BOOK SIGNED BY GENE RODDENBERRY TO WILLIAM THEISS’ FATHER - The Making of Star Trek. Ballantine Books, New York, (1968). By Stephen E. Whitefi eld and Gene Roddenberry, inscribed on the inside front cover in black ink to William Theiss’ father by Gene Roddenberry: “Thank you for your son Bill! We could not have made it at all without him. Gene Roddenberry.” A wonderful association and an important testament from Star Trek’s creator regarding William Ware Theiss, who designed all of the show’s spectacular costumes.

WALTER KOENIG “CHEKOV” BROWN LEATHER JACKET FROM STARTREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME - (Paramount, 1986) Brown leather zipper jacket worn by Walter Koenig as “Cmdr. Pavel Chekhov” in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Internal Western Costume label typed, “#2849-1 Walter Koenig” and size fi elds, “Chest 38” and “Sleeve 16” filled in. This soft leather jacket features unique ball zipper pulls on all the pockets and front closure.

BORG COSTUME FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount-TV, 1987-1994) Impressively detailed Borg costume from TNG including a stretch nylon bodysuit, polyurethane breast plate with complex network of plastic hoses, gauntlets, thigh and leg armor, boots and foam latex helmet, all hand-painted and detailed and festooned with hard rubber devices. Includes a Borg Phaser of resin with an aluminum tip attached with Velcro to the right gauntlet. This style Borg costume is seen in the episodes “I, Borg” and “Descent.” Mounted on a custom mannequin with hand-applied makeup.

KLINGON COSTUME FROM THE STAR TREK FEATURE FILMS AND STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount, 1987-1994) A Klingon costume originally constructed for the Star Trek feature fi lms and later re-used in Star Trek: TNG and Star Trek: DS9. The costume is comprised of a leather jacket with fur sleeves featuring Klingon insignia and communicator badge, grey pleated spandex pants, leather boots with toe spikes, belt with ammo pouch, holster with shoulder chain, leather collar piece, and plastic spine cover. The costume features a number of labels with diff erent actor names, including the smaller, older “Paramount” label seen in fi lm-era Trek pieces. The main difference in the feature Klingon costumes and the costumes made for Star Trek VI or the later television shows is the jacket- the feature style Klingons have a genuine leather jacket, while other Klingon costumes used a cheaper vinyl. An important and instantly identifi able Star Trek costume.

MARINA SIRTIS “DEANNA TROIS” PERSONAL CASE FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. - (Paramount-TV, 1987-94) Marina Sirtis as “Counselor Deanna Troi” used this personal case in the Star Trek: The Next Generation series. The black plastic case measures 12 in. x 9 in. x 2 in., with a Starfl eet insignia on the cover and the character name in white. The same design is repeated on the reverse.

BRENT SPINER “DATA” ILLUMINATING HEAD APPLIANCE FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. - (Paramount-TV, 1987-94) This fully functioning light-up section of Data’s (Brent Spiner) head can be seen in the third season episode “Deja Q”. After the Calamarain attack, Q is in main engineering and Data helps him. The Calamarain attackers knock Data out, and as he is diagnosed in sickbay his head is opened showing this illuminating section of his brain. The lights are mounted on a backing, which has been dressed with realistic looking sections of hair; this piece would then be attached to the actor’s head and blended with the rest of the hair. The piece has been mounted on a custom-made foam head with a micro switch mounted into the back, which operates the small LED lights.

COMMANDER WILLIAM RIKER’S BACKLIT CONTROL PANEL FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount-TV, 1987-94) Smoke-tinted backlit panel measuring 13 in. x 9 in. x 12 ½ in. The black plastic and felt-rimmed panel has been mounted to a custom display box, which has been wired to illuminate the panel face from behind. Easily the most desirable panel on the entire ship’s bridge, it shows the top and side elevation of the Enterprise-D, and can be seen in nearly every episode of the series. Electronics untested.

JOHN DE LANCIE “Q” BODYSUIT FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount-TV, 1987-94) Taupe jumpsuit with grey-greenish tunic worn by John de Lancie as “Q” in the TNG episode, “Deja Q,” when Q was stripped of his powers and made human. Internal labels on both garments are marked “John de Lancie”. Also includes the original costumer’s tag marked “Show #161 Deja Q”.

JOHN DE LANCIE “Q” MONK COSTUME FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount-TV, 1987-94) “Q” (John De Lancie) Monk costume from Star Trek: The Next Generation. This costume can be seen worn by “Q” in the fi rst season episode entitled “Hide and Q”, where we see “Q” dressed in various ridiculous costumes. The costume consists of a brown woolen long robe, a wrap around sleeveless jacket and hood and rope belt. No size is indicated. An accompanying costumer’s label includes details of the show, character, and scenes. Originally acquired from the Christie’s Star Trek sale.

PATRICK STEWART “JEAN LUC PICARD” SEASON ONE STARFLEET UNIFORM FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount TV, 1993-1999) Patrick Stewart’s Star Trek: The Next Generation Captain Jean-Luc Picard one-piece jumpsuit made of Spandex. The uniform consists of paneled color blocks of burgundy and black Spandex with diamond-shaped burgundy shoulder piping and trouser hem detailing. Inside collar label is handwritten, “Patrick #1 016”. Comm insignia badge attached with Velcro at the upper left chest. The Spandex uniform was intentionally sized small to stretch when worn and provide a smooth appearance. By the 3rd season, uniforms transitioned to two-piece wool versions. This is an early, screen-worn example of modern, classic Star Trek fashion from The Next Generation series.

LARGE STARFLEET INSIGNIA PANEL - (Paramount TV, 1987-94) This large Starfl eet insignia emblem is embedded within a smoke-tinted Lexan panel, designed to be backlit. Made for Star Trek: The Next Generation, its screen-use is unknown but likely appeared as a background set piece. Measures 4 ft. x 26 ½ in.

PATRICK STEWART “CAPT. PICARD” DUTY UNIFORM TUNIC FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount TV, 1987-94) Complete original, burgundy and black wool Star eet duty uniform tunic with uniquely oriented reverse zipper closure on the back, and internal Paramount label handwritten faintly, “Patrick”. Studio distressed with a 4 in. tear in the right shoulder. Communicator badge axed by Velcro at the upper left chest. This is the style of uniform that replaced earlier one-piece Spandex versions in Season 3 of the beloved Sci-Fi series.

ROMULAN DISRUPTOR FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - (Paramount-TV, 1987-1994) Romulan disruptor made of molded resin painted bluegrey with color-accented details.

ALIEN PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, STAR TREK: VOYAGER, AND STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount TV, 1987-2001) Constructed of grey and black-painted molded resin, this weapon was used by multiple aliens at various times in all three Star Trek series. Believed to be the only one with this paint scheme in existence, there were also no working models of this pistol made. Measures approx. 9 ½ inches in length.

MICHAEL DORN “WORF” STARFLEET UNIFORM FROM STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - Starfl eet uniform worn by Michael Dorn as “Worf.” The trademark uniform is mustard yellow and black with yellow trim around the neck. It has a piece of Velcro on the front where the communicator badge would have been fi xed and fastens up with a hidden zipper at the back. The trousers have built-in braces. “Worf ” wears this ripped uniform in the season seven episode “Genesis” where the entire crew of the Enterprise is aff ected by a synthetic T-Cell, which has made the crewmembers resort to their most animal-like instincts. The uniform has bone-like additions to the arms and side and a small protrusion on the thigh where “Worf ” has changed into his animal self, the back of the uniform has a large rip in it where a large spine extension has “burst” through. The costume comes with the original costumer’s label from the production, which details the character and the actor’s name, the scenes and the episode name.

MICHAEL DORN “WORF” HERO METAL BAT’LETH FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Hero bat’leth, the traditional Klingon “sword of honor,” resembling a meter-long two-ended scimitar. Constructed of machined aluminum metal, with leather grips. Measures 43 in. long. Special shipping arrangements apply.

3 STAR TREK ENTERPRISE ISOLINEAR CHIPS AND HOLDERS USED IN STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT, INSURRECTION, NEMESIS AND STAR TREK: GENERATIONS - (Paramount, 1991- 2002) A collection of three Enterprise Isolinear chip holders and assorted chips Consisting of (2) clear plastic, slotted 13 in. x 4 in. chip holders and (17) 4 in. x 4 in. and (3) 7 in. x 4 in. multi-colored, Plexiglas chips. The two holders are engraved with, “USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701-D” and the chips have random number sequences printed on them. These two sets were used in Star Trek: First Contact, Insurrection and Nemesis. A third set of Isolinear chips and their holder are similarly labeled, “USS ENTERPRISE 1701E” but chips have rounded corners and are printed with intricate circuitry. These were used in Star Trek: Generations. Striking display pieces and valuable screen-used props from the great Star Trek legacy.

TRILL PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Small hand-held Trill phaser constructed of resin painted metallic grey. Used by Jadzia Dax in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Measures 6 in. long.

ALIEN PHASER FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount- TV, 1993-1999) This variation of the Varon-T disruptor is constructed of molded resin painted black, silver, gold and brown. Used by multiple aliens on the series. Measures 7 1/2 in. long.

HERO ILLUMINATING KLINGON TRICORDER FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Working Klingon tricorder made of resin and painted brown and black with additional detailing. A button trigger at the top releases a small compartment at the front and illuminates the various LED lights. Measures approx. 7 in. long.

QUARK’S FERENGI PHASER FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) This Ferengi phaser is constructed of molded resin painted metallic green with black, red, and gold accents. Used by Armin Shimerman “Quark” on DS9, this weapon is a modifi ed version of a Vulcan phaser. Measures 6 in. long.

ARMIN SHIMERMAN “QUARK” COSTUME FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Costume includes ribbed purple pants, iridescent blue/purple pattern tunic, multicolor tailcoat with velvet trimmed collar and cuff s and featuring silver metal designs and detachable decorative metal gorget on the breast. Pants, tunic and tailcoat each have internal “Deep Space Nine” labels handwritten “Armin.” Includes the purple boots. Mounted on a custom mannequin with applied makeup and facial appliances. This style Quark costume configured with the gorget included in this lot can be seen in the Deep Space Nine episodes: “Accession,” “Bar Association,” “Crossfi re,” “Facets,” “Family Business,” “Heart of Stone,” “Homefront,” and others. This same style costume adorned with a larger gorget (not included) can be seen in the episodes: “Afterimage,” “Body Parts,” “Business as Usual,” “Call to Heart,” “Change of Arms,” “Ferengi Love Songs,” and many others.

STATIC CARDASSIAN PADD FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE. - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Small palm-size PADD used by the Cardassians and constructed of resin, painted grey with a circular graphic decal in the center. Measures approx. 4 in. long.

HERO ROMULAN DISRUPTOR RIFLE FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE. - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) This Romulan disruptor rifl e is constructed of heavy molded resin painted grey and black, with applied color accents. Its fi ne detailing and excellent condition suggest it was used in the foreground for close-ups. Measures 18 in. long.

CARDASSIAN PHASER FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993- 1999) Ornate gold and maroon-painted molded resin, with purple beam emitter tip. Used throughout the series by the main occupants and builders of the Deep Space Nine space station. There were no working versions of this model made. Measures 9 ½ in. long.

STATIC STARFLEET MARK X TRICORDER FROM STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT. - (Paramount, 1996) This prop is constructed of cast resin painted silver with multiple full-color graphics. Hinged at the lower edge, the protective cover swings open to reveal a full complement of high-quality graphics resembling the lighted function of the Tricorder. This “TR-590 Tricorder X” was most likely used for close-up shots that did not require the fully lighted version.

VULCAN PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Molded resin Phaser pistol painted green with gold and metallic silver detailing. Measures approx. 8 in. long.

WORKING CARDASSIAN TRICORDER FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Hero illuminating Cardassian Tricorder made of grey-painted resin. A small trigger button at the top right illuminates the console. Measures approx. 6 in. long.

JEM’HADAR PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: DEEP SPACENINE - (Paramount-TV, 1993-1999) Identical in design to the Jen’Hadar Phaser pistol but without the barrel cover. Constructed of silver, grey and gold-painted molded resin. It also includes a force meter graphic decal at the top rear of the frame. Measures approx. 9 in. long.

ALIEN PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: VOYAGER - (Paramount-TV, 1994-2001) Black-painted molded resin, constructed in the Jem’Hadar style, this weapon is seen in the sixth season episode, “Live Fast and Prosper.” Measures approx. 9 in. long.

U.S.S. ENTERPRISE-D COMMISSIONING PLAQUE FROM STAR TREK VII: GENERATIONS. - (Paramount, 1994) This commissioning plaque is housed in a wooden frame and features large strips of Velcro on the left and right of the verso to attach to the bulkhead of the bridge set. The crew would remove it nightly following wrapping, as they had a tendency to “disappear.” For this fi lm, the production used plaques made by the Franklin Mint featuring a sterling silver Starfl eet insignia. Comes with a letter of authenticity from William Dolan, Set Decoration Lead Person.

LEVAR BURTON “GEORDI LA FORGE” UNIFORM FROM STAR TREK VII: GENERATIONS - (Paramount, 1994) Geordi La Forge uniform consisting of a black and gold jumpsuit with elastic waistband and zipper front, purple long sleeved uniform undershirt, jumpsuit and tunic both have Star Trek VII handwritten labels “LeVar Burton,” Comm badge, three rank pips, and costumers tag written “Geordie, LeVar Burton, change number 3, Scenes #97-178DS9,” and a pair of black leather short boots.

LEVAR BURTON “LT. GEORDI L FORGE” VISOR FROM STAR TREK VII: GENERATIONS - (Paramount, 1994) Prop VISOR worn by LeVar Burton as “Lt. Geordi La Forge,” a device that allows the birth-blind La Forge to “see” throughout the electromagnetic spectrum. Constructed of resin and painted silver and gold. Measures 6 in. long.

JEAN LUC PICARD’S “ENTERPRISE-E” COMMAND CHAIR FROM THE STAR TREK FILMS. - (Paramount, 1994, 1996, 1998) This padded aircraft-style armchair is covered with burgundy-dyed imitation leather, and features armrests with simulated control panels, which are designed to accept small LCD display screens. This command chair was used by Patrick Stewart as “Jean-Luc Picard” on the bridge of the Enterprise-E in three of Star Trek: The Next Generation fi lms, including First Contact, Insurrection and Nemesis. Measures 47 in. x 36 in. x 32 in. Originally sold at the Christie’s Star Trek auction, October 2006. Special shipping arrangements will apply.

JERI RYAN COSTUME WORN AS “SEVEN OF NINE” IN THE STAR TREK: VOYAGER EPISODE “INFINITE REGRESS” - (Paramount-TV, 1995-2001) Royal blue and gray lamé bodysuit worn by Jeri Ryan as “Seven of Nine” in the season fi ve episode: “Infi nite Regress”. Includes beige under-girdle and matching blue Tricorder holster. A great hero costume in excellent condition, worn by one of the most popular female characters in the Star Trek franchise history.

STATIC STARFLEET PADD FROM STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT - (Paramount, 1996) Grey-painted molded resin P.A.D.D. with decal detailing and “United Federation of Planets Starfl eet Command” insignia. Measures 4 in. x 7 in. Used in Star Trek: First Contact.

PROTOTYPE PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE - (Paramount-TV, 2001- 2005) An excellent, large phaser pistol made for the spec show (unaired pilot), which was produced to sell the series to Paramount. It is constructed of hard and vacuum formed plastic painted grey, with attached sight painted bronze. Acquired directly from the prop maker who made it for the show, this fantastic, one-of-a-kind pistol is a great prop weapon from the Star Trek universe. Measures 24 in. long.

STATIC PHASER RIFLE FROM STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT - (Paramount, 1996) One of three diff erent versions of the Phaser rifl e used in the fi lm this double-grip version was the last of the three constructed. It has a diff erent barrel with graphic decals on the sides and top. Constructed of black and grey-painted resin with a retractable strap. Measures approx. 36 in. long.

MEK’LETH KLINGON STUNT SWORD USED BY WORF IN STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT. - (Paramount, 1996) Silver and brown painted rubber Klingon sword, measuring 21 in. from top to bottom. Used by Worf to hack apart the attacking Borg drone during the space walking expedition outside of the ship, in order to prevent the Borg from activating the interplexing beacon. A highly visible prop weapon from an exciting moment of the fi lm.

SCREEN-USED GOLD-PLATED NCC-1701 ENTERPRISE MINIATURE, SMASHED BY CAPT. PICARD WITH HIS PHASER RIFLE IN STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT - (Paramount, 1996) This miniature NCC-1701 Enterprise set piece is plated in 24k gold and measures approx. 22 in. long. This model was one of several Enterprise miniatures displayed in the observation lounge, and played a key role in one of the fi lm’s most dramatic moments: when Picard comes to the realization that his vengeance towards the Borg is interfering with his best judgment to save the crew and sacrifi ce his ship, he launches into a fi t of rage, and smashes the trophy case where this and the other Enterprise models were displayed. The particular miniature has suffered some damage from one of the takes, and was repaired at the nacelle struts between take 18. A great screen-used piece from one of the best scenes of the fi lm. Comes with a custom display stand.

WORKING SON’A PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: INSURRECTION. - (Paramount, 1998) Constructed of silver-painted molded resin with internal workings for a lighting effect on the front of the barrel assembly, this weapon is used by the Son’a aliens when they capture Capt. Picard. Measures approx. 8 inches long. This prop may have been repainted.

SCOTT BAKULA “CAPTAIN ARCHER” STARFLEET UNIFORM FROM STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE - (Paramount TV, 2001-2005) Deep purple/blue cotton jumpsuit with gold piping on the upper shoulders/chest and “Enterprise” patch on the left shoulder. Four silver bars ranking insignia at the upper right chest. Together with the matching black turtleneck undertunic. Each garment features an internal bias label handwritten “Scott Bakula”. Made for Bakula in his role as “Capt. Jonathan Archer”, the childhood hero of Shatner’s “Capt. Kirk” and the commander of the rst USS Enterprise.

SULIBAN REBEL PHASER PISTOL USED IN THE STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE EPISODE: “BROKEN BOW” - (Paramount-TV, 2001-2005) Working Suliban phaser pistol made of a silver and green-painted cylindrical barrel with a black handle, and a depressible trigger that activates the LED light at the ring tip. Measures approx. 9 ½ in. long. As seen in the episode: “Broken Bow.”

Also includes a 3-stud ranking pin attached to the collar of the under tunic and an original Starfleet command badge with Velcro attachment at the upper left chest of the jumpsuit. Internal costume label inside the jumpsuit handwritten, “Brent Spiner, 11-01, Data.” The under tunic also contains an internal costume label handwritten, “Brent Spiner, Data.” A great hero costume in excellent condition, worn by a key character throughout the film.

WORKING SULIBAN PHASER PISTOL FROM STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE. - (Paramount- TV, 2001-2005) Brown/orange patterned phaser pistol used by the Suliban. This working resin model has a depressible trigger that lights up the LED at the fi ring tip. Measures approx. 10 in. long.

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK SCRIPT - (Paramount, 1981) 160pp revised 5th draft screenplay written by Lawrence Kasdan from a story by George Lucas, dated April, 1980, with original covers and stamped “ROLA 103022” on each page. The cover shows some soiling from use with two small pencil doodles (a square and a heart). First few pages inside are torn on edges, but the entire content of the punched and brad-bound script remains intact and in good condition.

PROP NAZI AMMO CASE FROM RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK - (Paramount, 1981) This is one of the ammo case props, stenciled with the Nazi spread-winged eagle, which are seen in several scenes around the secret submarine base at the end of the fi lm. Also visible as the Nazi procession carries the Ark through the canyon and in the background when the Ark is fi nally opened. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Richard Edlund (A.S.C), the Oscar winning visual eff ects genuis who worked on this fi lm. Measures 43 in. x 12 in. x 9 in.

RED SEQUIN DANCER’S DRESS FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM. - (Paramount, 1984) Red sequin patterned Chinese cheongsam, with internal bias label handwritten, “Andrea Chance,” a background dancer seen in the opening nightclub scene.

COMPLETE THUGGEE GUARD COSTUME FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM - (Paramount, 1984) A complete Thuggee guard costume from the 1984 fi lm Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The costume consists of a red robe, black drawstring pants, boots, leather belt with metal “Kali” belt buckle, leather sheath, turban head wrap, and fi berglass sword. The robe and pants feature typescript Bermans and Nathans labels stating “Temple Guard”, “Raiders II”, for Raiders of the Lost Ark II, as the fi lm was known during production. After being used for the studio shoot in England and location fi lming in Sri Lanka, this costume was taken by Robert Watts and Frank Marshall to Florida, to be used for filming insert shots of alligators devouring the Thuggees who had fallen from the rope bridge. The costume was fi lled with chicken necks and the gators were filmed taking bites out of it. This resulted in a number of tears in the robe, pants, and bite marks in the boots.The gators have torn off the sleeves around the elbows. Includes full documentation from the alligator handler who worked on the shoot and was given the costume by the producers.

THUGGEE RIFLE FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM - (Paramount, 1984) Prop Martini Henry rifle made of molded fi berglass. Measures approx. 41 in. long. Can be seen during the film’s climax, when Indy and crew escape from Pankot Palace while pursued by Mola Ram’s henchmen, the Thuggees. The fiberglass models are very rare and only four are thought to have survived. Originally acquired from the late Nick Harrison of Elstree Studios.

SANKARA STONE FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM. - (Paramount, 1984) Oblong stone, cast in resin and painted brown to resemble the rare Sankara stone, with three semicircular lines scored around the center. This is the static version of the Sankara Stone, and is far more widely used on-screen than the hero illuminated version, which was only used for a few special eff ects shots. Measures approx. 6 in. tall and 3 in. diameter. Originally acquired from the fi lm’s property master, Barry Wilkinson.

FIBERGLASS RESIN THUGGEE SWORD FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM. - (Paramount, 1984) Fiberglass resin Thuggee sword with painted handle, measuring 41 in. in length, used in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, during the fi nal bridge and cliff scenes. In very good condition, with only minimal chippings on the blade – a rarity as swords from the production are usually destroyed during fi lming.

RARE THUGGEE KNIFE FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE - (Paramount, 1984) Rare prop knife made of fi berglass painted silver and gold, seen being used by a Thuggee to attack Indy in the mine cart chase sequjence. Originally acquired from the fi lm’s property master, Barry Wilkinson.

RARE THUGGEE CURVED SWORD WITH SHEATH INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM. - (Paramount, 1984) Rare Thuggee curved sword with lion-head pommel design and sheath, both made of molded fi berglass painted silver. Measures approx. 35 in. long. The top of the sheath is wrapped with suede. It is rare for Temple of Doom swords to be in such good condition – and rarer still with sheaths – as their lightweight construction causes them to be destroyed either during or after the production. Originally acquired from the late Nick Harrison of Elstree Studios. Includes a rare prop knife made of fi berglass painted silver and gold, seen being used by a Thuggee to attack “Indy” in the mine cart chase sequence. Originally acquired from the film’s property master, Barry Wilkinson.

GRAIL CUP FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - (Paramount, 1989) The Holy Grail, made of berglass/resin painted to resemble earthenware or terracotta, heavily weathered, with very bright gold leaf paint on the inside surface. In the nal sequence of the fi lm, Indy uses it to save his father, Henry Jones Sr. (played by Sean Connery) via its “Divine healing properties”. Made of resin, the prop was so designed to withstand the tumble down into the chasm that opened up beneath the Great Seal on the oor of the Grail Temple in the lm. An icon of the lm and the key plot device, this wonderful artifact is an important and instantly recognizable piece of Hollywood history. Measures approx. 5 ½ inches tall. Exhibits a crack through the bowl obtained from production, which has been expertly repaired. Originally acquired from Paul Robins, the prop maker who made this piece for the production.

MILITARY HAT WORN BY ALISON DOODY AS “DR. ELSA SCHNEIDER” IN INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - (Paramount, 1989) Grey fabric military cap with silver piping, and internal bias label handwritten “Miss A. Doody.” Worn in the fi nal scenes of the fi lm during the chase to fi nd the grail.

KEVORK MALIKYAN “KAZIM” SUIT JACKET AND PANTS FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - (Paramount, 1989) Double-breasted suit jacket and pants worn by Kevork Malikyan as “Kazim,” the leader of the Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword; the organization that protects the Holy Grail. Internal Bermans & Nathans label in both the jacket and pants typed, “Kevork Malikyan 9329 – Kirmal #1 – Indiana Jones III”. Worn during the Venice canals chase scene. A replica lapel fl ower has been added for display.

STEVEN SPIELBERG PERSONAL RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK CREW CAP WORN ON THE SET DURING THE PRODUCTION OF INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OFDOOM - (Paramount, 1984) Trucker-style beige cap with large fi lm logo patch on the front. Spielberg gave this hat to a crewmember while working on the Temple of Doom. During the construction of the famous Rope Bridge on location, the crewmember had been left alone in the sweltering heat and in an act of kindness; Spielberg off ered him his own hat as he left the location. The hat is in very good condition, although some of the adjustable plastic snaps on the back headband are missing.

GRAIL TABLET FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - (Paramount, 1989) This tablet is made of solid plaster painted and weathered to resemble ancient stone, with a large cross and Latin script engraved on the surface. The inscription is based on original Latin Psalms, with re-translated Scripture and what is believed to be some other fanciful, though erroneous, passages. Interestingly, the prop maker took the English-language Psalm and re-translated it to Latin word-for-word to create this wonderful artifact, seen in Donovan’s apartment in the fi lm. This fantastic set piece served as an important clue, ultimately leading Indy to Venice in pursuit of the fi nal, missing portion of the Grail inscription. The tablet measures approx. 19 ½ in. long.

HARRISON FORD HERO BLAZER FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE. - (Paramount, 1989) Brown two-button blazer worn by Harrison Ford in the film as “Indy”, with internal Bermans & Nathans label typed “Harrison Ford - 9296 – Indiana Jones – Indiana Jones III”. Worn by Ford during the scene in which he first discovers the Shield of Sir Richard in the rat-infested catacombs. The blazer exhibits some evidence of exposure to water for this scene.

SEAN CONNERY “PROFESSOR HENRY JONES” SIGNATURE SUIT JACKET AND PANTS FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - Paramount, 1989) Brown wool two-button suit jacket and pants worn by Sean Connery as “Professor Henry Jones.” This costume was slightly altered for use in a subsequent production. Internal Bermans & Nathans label in the jacket is handwritten, “17416 S Connery.” Accompanied with hat, tie, shirt and shoes for display purposes.

METAL SWORD USED BY THE GRAIL KNIGHT FROM INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - (Paramount, 1989) Metal sword with intricately designed, gold-plated handle, hilt and pommel. Measures approx. 39 in. long. Used by the nine hundred year old Crusader at the climax of the fi lm. This prop is based on one of the most famous swords in history, the Sword of Charlemagne, which was used to crown French kings, as well as Napoleon! Originally acquired from Bapty’s.

HARRISON FORD “INDIANA JONES” HAT USED IN AN EARLY COSTUME FITTING FOR INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL - (Paramount, 2008) This hat originated from the Adventurebilt Hat Company, hired to create all of the hero Indy hats for Crystal Skull. The hat comes with a notarized copy of a letter from Adventurebilt which states (in part): “This certifi cate of authenticity is for an Indiana Jones Adventurebilt Deluxe Fedora worn by Harrison Ford in an early costume fi tting for his latest Indiana Jones movie, the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull... This hat was sent to Bernie Pollack, Ford’s personal costumer for a fi tting. The hat was worn by Harrison Ford in the fi tting.” Also includes copies from the paper trail between Adventurebilt, Bernie Pollack and Paramount Studios. The felt is a medium weight 100% pure Beaver belly felt. One of these early hats was used in the advance poster adverstising this fi lm. In Very Fine condition.

ORIGINAL SCREEN-USED ENERGIZER BUNNY FROM THE CLASSIC TELEVISION COMMERCIALS OF THE 1980S AND 1990S - This elaborate working prop features the loveable Energizer Bunny outfi tted in a custom fitted wetsuit and SCUBA gear, with front mounted bass drum bearing the Energizer logo. This fully-animatronic prop was used for an underwater scene in which two SCUBA divers are shown swimming through the deep with an over-dubbed narrative mentioning an upcoming Jacques Cousteau-type nature special. Suddenly, this bunny comes barging through as if intruding from another television commercial. (This commercial fi rst aired on July 1, 1991). These TV ads are credited as being one of the most successful campaigns in advertising history, and the Energizer Bunny grew from a cute television gimmick to an icon of 20th century pop culture. This hand-made pink bunny is fi tted with air hoses, which activate the arms and head, and additionally create bubbles to give the illusion that the SCUBA equipment is actually supplying air. Measures approx. 30 in. tall and comes with a letter of authenticity from Eric Allard, the original creator of the Energizer bunny, who custom-made all of the bunnies for this long-running series of commercials.

Measures approx. 24 in. tall, and comes with a letter of authenticity from Eric Allard, the original creator of the Energizer bunnies, who custom-made all of the bunnies for this long-running series of commercials.

FIRST ISSUE OF PLAYBOY MAGAZINE, DECEMBER 1953 - In 1953, Hugh Hefner took a big gamble that America was ready for the clandestine, often sordid world of adult entertainment and nudes to emerge in the light of day as legitimate, even classy. The gamble paid off when Hefner’s “Playboy” magazine hit the newsstands. This is the very fi rst issue of that, now legendary, publication. It’s fi tting that the fi rst issue of this revolutionary men’s entertainment magazine, only 50 cents at the time, should feature as its fi rst cover girl, the queen of all Hollywood sex symbols: Marilyn Monroe! Marilyn is pictured in black & white on the magazine’s cover with black and red print exclaiming, “First time in any magazine the famous Marilyn Monroe Nude” (referring to the photo spread inside - previously taken for Marilyn’s infamous calendar spread). In addition, there are contributions by contemporary writers including, Norman Holland, William Marsh, Rob Norman and Ambrose Bierce on subjects like Big Band Jazz, “Humorous tales of adultery” and Football. This Playboy magazine has been CGC graded 6.0 and encapsulated in a plastic sleeve. A landmark in publishing and American pop-cultural revolution.

COMPLETE SET OF PLAYBOY MAGAZINES (DEC. 1953 – JULY 2005) INCLUDING MARILYN MONROE ISSUE #1 AND RELATED PLAYBOY MATERIALS - This is a complete set of 600+ Playboy magazines dating from issue #1 (CGC graded 5.0) 1953 to 2005, including a variety of related Playboy materials, all in excellent condition. When a young Hugh Hefner published his fi rst issue of Playboy, it was left undated, as he wasn’t certain there’d ever be a second issue. Today, over half a century later, the magazine is still on newsstands all over the world and Hugh Hefner has become the pajama-clad symbol of American male success and leisure. The fi rst issue of Playboy magazine was produced in Hefner’s Hyde Park kitchen, had a cover price of only 50¢, and sold out in a matter of weeks. Known circulation at that time was 53,991 (in 1971 the Nov. issue of Playboy sold over 7 million copies)! The fi rst centerfold model was Marilyn Monroe, in her iconic pose photographed in 1949 for a pin-up calendar. The Playboy logo, a stylized profi le of a rabbit wearing a tuxedo bow tie, was originally designed for the 2nd issue as an endnote, but was quickly adopted as the offi cial magazine logo and has appeared ever since (often hidden within the cover image for readers to search out). Hefner has said he chose the rabbit for its “humorous sexual connotation,” and because the image was “frisky and playful.” From the start, socially conservative and religious groups of the day railed against the magazine, deeming it “immoral”. But Playboy was fi rmly committed to featuring only the most tasteful celebration of the nude female form. As a result of this attention to artistry and quality, many mainstream celebrities were attracted to Playboy’s high profi le, glamorous pictorials. Over the years, famous models have included, Jayne Mansfi eld, Nancy Sinatra, Stella Stevens, Farrah Fawcett, Kim Basinger, Goldie Hawn, Sharon Stone, Drew Barrymore, Charlize Theron and Pamela Anderson, to name a few. And a Playboy photo spread has been known to create its fair share of fame too. Stars like, Barbie Benton, Dorothy Stratton, Jenny McCarthy and Anna Nicole Smith have all been immortalized and had their careers propelled by their presence in Playboy magazine. But Playboy was more than just a pretty face. Hefner insisted on featuring only the best artists and writers available. ANDY WARHOL HOWDY DOODY PRINT - Howdy Doody, from Myths (F./S. II.263), 1981 Screenprint in colors with diamond dust on Lenox Museum Board, signed in pencil and numbered 171 out of the edition of 200, with the blindstamp of the publisher, Ronald Feldman Fine Arts Inc., An incredibly sought after image, Howdy Doody is one of ten screenprints in Warhol’s 1981 “Myths” portfolio. Unlike many of his well-known works, Warhol’s reproduction of Howdy Doody’s image is not appropriated from the mass media: it is based on a photograph of the original Howdy Doody taken by Warhol himself. It is stamped in black on verso and bears the printer’s chop mark. New York, printed by Rupert Jasen Smith, printed the full sheet, in mint condition. sheet 38 x 38in. This piece has been matted and framed to museum standards in a 45 in. x 44 ¼ in. wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.

1930S METAL PEZ CONTAINER. - 3 ¼ in. x 2 ¼ in. x ½ in. 1930s metal PEZ container. Resembling a modern Altoids mint tin, this metal embossed container features the PEZ logo on the top center and a band on the lower right that reads, “Spezial”. Shows wear and age but in Fair condition. A 1930s rarity.

PEZ 1930’S “ZITRON” CANDY BOX - This is a vintage 7 ½ in. 4 ½ in. x 2 in. cardboard PEZ box. It is a cigar-style box with a paper-hinged lid. The yellow color is vibrant and the wear and age are minimal. In Very Good condition. Originally held 54 PEZ sleeves. Now empty.

REGULAR PEZ DISPENSER MINT IN PACKAGE - 1940s PEZ dispenser. Rarely found in the original packaging. This dispenser is still sealed and comes with one original sleeve of PEZ candy.

ADVERTISING PATENT BOX PEZ DISPENSER - 1940s rare early example with words and patent-box on the side with advertising. Only a few handmade examples were made.

1940S RARE “LOCKING CAP” PEZ DISPENSER - 1940s PEZ dispenser with rare sliding locking cap. Very few examples have been found. Ivory colored and in Excellent condition.

“FOLDING REGULAR” RARE PROTOTYPE PEZ DISPENSER - This 1940s PEZ dispenser was never commercially produced. It is composed of a white plastic casing surrounding a clear plastic magazine where the PEZ candy would be loaded. “PEZ” is hand written on the side of the dispenser. The last known example of such a prototype sold for $4,500 in 2002.

THREE (3) PEZ GIRL CANDY BOXES - 1940s and 1950s original store display boxes in excellent condition. (2) 2 ¼ in. x 2 in. x 3 ¼ in. boxes of lime and peppermint PEZ candies, both contain 10 PEZ candy packs and 5 in. tall, die-cut back flap with illustration of PEZ usherette and a girl with a red scarf. The third empty box is 6 ¼ in. x 2 in. x 2 ½ in. with the PEZ usherette on top.

RARE PEZ POCKET KNIFE - 1940s or 50s black Bakelite penknife with two pullout, sharp, metal knife blades. The black sides of the knife bear the inlayed metal words, “Haaspulver” on one side and “PEZerfrischt” on the other. Very few of these objects have ever been seen. In Very Good condition.

1950S SPACE TROOPER PEZ DISPENSER - DISPENSER WITH DISPLAY CARD. Very hard to find Space Trooper PEZ dispenser (blue) with original stand, display card and PEZ candy included. In Excellent condition.

PEZ “MAGIC VIEWER” CAMERA DISPENSER - 1950s PEZ novelty viewer camera. This ivory and black plastic toy camera is approx. 1 in. x 2 in. When held up to the eye and depressing the picture lever, a photo wheel inside rotates multiple images of a PEZ usherette and a Canadian hockey team playing on the ice. This rarity is still in working order and in Very good condition. Less than five of these objects are known to exist.

1950S RARE WITCH “B-VERSION” PEZ DISPENSER - Hard to find “B” version, this witch has a taller hat than other versions and is rarely ever seen. The Witch series of PEZ dispensers were the first to feature character heads. In Halloween colors of orange head and black body.

PEZ SPACE GUN DISPLAY WITH FOUR GUN DISPENSERS - 1950s fantastic rare example hardly ever seen (4) out of 5 PEZ gun dispensers on their original display card. Yellow, Green, blue and red guns attached by elastic to the brightly colored 9 ½ in. x 13 ¼ in. card illustrated with images of guns, space and happy children. In Excellent condition.

SPACE TROOPER ROBOT PEZ DISPENSER WITH DISPLAY BOX - 1950s rare vintage, die-cut, illustrated 6 in. x 4 in. x 4 ½ in. display box included with this classic yellow Space Trooper PEZ dispenser. In Excellent condition.

1950S DIE CUT PEZ DISPLAY - Die cut display boxes are extremely hard to fi nd and this one is in beautiful condition. The art features a smiling PEZ usherette holding a white regular PEZ candy dispenser. A beautiful period piece in Excellent condition.

(2) 1950S SPACE GUNS PEZ DISPENSERS IN DISPLAY BOX - (1) green space gun PEZ dispenser and (1) red gun with instructions. The guns come in a stock box that would have contained “4 counter display cards, each holding 6 PEZ space guns”. The top of the lidded box features graphics of the store card and a rotating kiosk. There is a printed note, “Mr. Retailer: for bigger profi t and fast turnover kindly place PEZ space gun counter display right next to your PEZ whirl-around display.” Guns are in Excellent condition and the 14 in. x 10 in. x 5 in. box is in good condition with some age and staining that doesn’t interfere with graphics.

The dispenser is in Excellent condition while the box shows signs of age and wear. Includes an 8 in. x 12 in. full-color Batman store card in Mint condition.

1960S PEZ “SMOKE PAUSE” DISPLAY WITH CANDY - 20 in. x 5 ½ in. x 5 in. Plastic “smoke Pause” PEZ dispenser includes (3) 26-count sleeves of Smoke Pause PEZ, original loading instructions and ad sheets. Smoke Pause was presented as a breath mint for smokers that contained Vitamin C and Dextrose, “A must for smokers”. The black plastic store counter dispenser was operated by a white push button at the foot of the base, which ejected the bottom pack of PEZ. There is a graphic advertising card mounted on the top. The very top edge of the dispenser is cracked, but can be easily repaired. The display comes in its original shipping box and packaging.

RARE PEZ DISPLAY STAND WITH FOOTBALL DISPLAY BOX - Incredible 19 in. x 8 in. x 8 in. turntable store display with (18) very rare football PEZ dispensers, all in boxes. The red plastic display holds (4) boxes of PEZ refi ll candies and the top tier seats a die-cut PEZ football dispenser display box. The sturdy box holds (17) unopened football dispensers and (1) opened box. Each helmet-headed dispenser comes with two refi ll PEZ candy packs, an instruction sheet featuring pennants that can be personalized, cut out and glued to the space on the body of the dispenser. The display exhibits some cracking on one of the center tiers, but the turntable mechanism is strong and all boxes are in Excellent condition. Comes in its original mailing box.

This 5 in. x 3 in. x 2 ¼ in. box was on display in stores and when a customer pushed the button on the box, they were greeted by a sexy message from, “Your PEZ girl” telling them to call a collect phone number to find out more about PEZ. The battery- operated box played a tiny record disc with the recorded message. Box is in Good condition with a graphic of a PEZ usherette and images of PEZ candy. Unpeeled double-sided tape on back of box to affi x it to a surface.

(6) STEEL PEZ FACTORY CANDY-MAKING STAMPS - A rarity even for the PEZ afi cionado. Here are (6) solid steel PEZ die-stamps. These original vintage dies or rod stamps would have been used in the PEZ factory as the main component of the PEZ-making machinery that compresses the famous PEZ brick candies. Ranging in length from 5 in. long to 8 in. long, these are heavy, solid tooled rods with a hammering head on one side and the PEZ impression stamp on the other. (2) of these stamps include their PEZshaped detachable molds. Original dies from the factory. Very scarce and in great shape.

COMPLETE GILLIGAN’S ISLAND TRADING CARD SET - (CBS, 1964 – 1967) Gilligan’s Island was one of the most popular series in television history. Millions have grown up watching Gilligan and his fellow castaways’ shenanigans, marooned on their uncharted tropical island. In 1965, TOPPS created this 55-card set featuring black & white still photos from the series on the front of the card, complete with jokes in word balloons. Each card back depicts a frame from the show, which when put into order becomes an animating fl ipbook! COMPLETE MARS ATTACKS TRADING CARD SET W/1 WRAPPER AND ORDER FORM - (TOPPS, 1962) This is a complete, mint, 55-card set of Bubbles, Inc. (aka TOPPS) Mars Attacks trading cards, a wax-pack wrapper and a onesheet advertising sheet. Few “monster cards” are more in demand than Mars Attacks, which tell a tale of Earth’s invasion by bloodthirsty Aliens. When TOPPS released this set in 1962, they used their alternate brand name “Bubbles, Inc.” in anticipation of strong reaction to the graphic content of the cards. But, while parents may have objected to the elevated blood and violence factor, kids ate it up! Today, a complete set of these cards is extremely rare to fi nd. Tim Burton’s 1996 movie version of Mars Attacks further enhanced the pedigree of the brand and introduced it to a whole new generation.

The most extensive single private collection ever assembled for off er to the public. From the world famous Dreier Collection. This comprehensive collection of Cracker Jack toys and memorabilia hails from the earliest days of the candy-making empire, (1800s), when the Rueckheim brothers fi rst included surprises in packages of their popcorn confection, to the 1990s. These are some of the rarest examples of Cracker Jack materials in existence. The massive collection includes 1898 Paper Dolls, (80+) pre-1910 Riddle Cards, (17) Victorian Women pin backs, Cracker Jack Bears postcards sets, (11) riddle books, baseball score counters, baseball spinner, water guns, various cast metal battleships, metal train cars and scores more. Among the items from the 1900s are movie slide cards, metal Baseball score counters, standing tin soldiers, spinning tops, storybooks, pot metal and celluloid lamps and trinkets, tin doll house serving trays, movie fl ip books, tin-litho horse and carriage, button mirrors, painted wooden boats, wood buildings, tin-litho parrot and many more items and objects. This world-class collection includes literally 1000s of items spanning nearly a century of Cracker Jack history, housed in archived folders with carefully preserved paper ephemera and boxes of metal, cardboard and plastic toys of all shapes and sizes. This collection also includes various packaging and advertising materials and (2) slipcase binders fi lled with hundreds of assorted Cracker Jack baseball cards and examples of the empty Cracker Jack bags that contained them. The collection involves (13) 13 ½ in. x 12 ¼ in. x 4 in. slip-cases with ringed folders fi lled with clear partitioned sleeves containing Cracker Jack ephemera, (5) 16 in. x 12 ½ in. x 10 in. banker’s boxes fi lled with Cracker Jack toys, trinkets and miscellany, 25+ butterfl y window cases displaying a variety of Cracker Jack toy treasures and paper prizes. Also includes (2) early, vintage Cracker Jack shipping crates. The fi rst measures 27 in. x 14 in. x 10 in. and is made of tongue and groove wooden slats. The bottom of the box is missing. Top and sides remain and are stamped all over with black text reading (in part): “200 Ribbon 200 Popcorn Balls Rueckheim Bros. & Eckstein Cracker Jack and Candy Makers Chicago, U.S.A.” Box top bears the stamp “Notice Please do not store this case in front of older stock or send out until every case of previous shipment is sold”. Recipient address stencil and grease pencil apparent as well. The second longer box measures 33 in. x 13 in. x 9 in. and is without a top, composed of darker wood nail-joined slats. The long sides emblazoned with the familiar Cracker Jack name logo. The ends are stamped in black ink, “100 pkgs. Cracker Jack Rueckheim Bros. & Eckstein. Chicago”. Condition of items vary, but all are presentable. Quite possibly the last time this number and variety of Cracker Jack memorabilia will ever be sold at one time.
