MOORE'S started business in Toronto, Ontario in July of 1969 and held their first public auction sale in April of 1977. Since 1977 MOORE'S has held 123 public and Mail Bid Auction sales, and currently conducts two per year. MOORE's has conducted auctions for the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association, the Ontario Numismatic Association, The Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers, TOREX and many other assosciations.
Charles D. Moore, the President of MOORE's is a Life Member and Fellow of the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association and served twenty-seven years on the board, as well as two terms as President of the Association. He is also a Life member of the Canadian Paper Money Society and a s Past President, and was a charter member of the Canadian Association of Numismatic Dealers, also serving a term as President.
