^Lot 820071 2 Civil War Orig Naval Buttons Gaunt Starkey -England

These 2 gilt coat buttons from the Civil War era were made in England. Three have a design featuring an eagle with anchor and stars. They are gilt, with original coat backings. One is marked "J.R. GAUNT & SON, LTD., NEW YORK, MADE IN ENGLAND." The other is marked "JOSH STARKEY, LONDON," along with a street address. These buttons measure 3/4 to 7/8 inch in diameter. They are in good to very good condition.
