Original sepia 3.75 x 6 cabinet photo, signed in the lower border in black ink, “R. B. Hayes,” with the date of 1886 added in another hand. Matted and framed to an overall size of 7.5 x 10.25. In very good condition, with a spot to Hayes’s shoulder, some light soiling to background, and a few edge creases.
