Scarce ALS signed “Dick Nixon,” one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, November 12, 1990. Letter to Melinda. In full: “Since your great grandfather was one of my closest friends I was particularly pleased to hear that you were to become Mrs. Thorsen Rockwell in December. Mrs. Nixon & I feel very close to the Bobat family & we wish you the very best in years ahead.” Edge creasing and impressions from previous display, which could be matted out, and a uniform shade of mild toning, otherwise fine condition. Uncommon in handwritten letters of this length.
