TLS signed “Ron,” one page, 8.5 x 11, State of California letterhead, May 14, 1974. Letter to bank president Charles Broska. In part: “Just a quick line to say first of all that I hope you are feeling better now, if your case was the flu. But, anyway, I’m sorry that we missed connections…Well, I’m sure there will be another time.” Under his signature, Reagan adds a brief handwritten postscript, “Just got your note re–John C. thank you very much.” In fine condition, with received stamp at bottom. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
