Distinguished vintage matte-finish 6.75 x 9 seated portrait of Roosevelt, by George Prince, and copyrighted 1902, and affixed to its original 11.75 x 14.5 mount, signed in fountain pen on the mount, as president, “Theodore Roosevelt, July 15, 1902.” Framed to an overall size of 14 x 16.5. In fine condition, with uniform mild toning to mount and photographer’s notation to mount. A desirable likeness from the beginning of Roosevelt’s administration.
