TLS signed “T. Roosevelt,” one page, 7.25 x 7, Metropolitan letterhead, November 1, 1917. Brief letter of thanks to a gentleman in Amherst, New Hampshire. In full: “I heartily thank you for the book, and appreciate your courtesy in sending it to me.” Double matted and framed, with an engraved portrait of Roosevelt, to an overall size of 18 x 12. Intersecting folds, two passing through signature, some light wrinkling, and a mild shade of uniform toning, otherwise fine condition.
