Free franked envelope, 4.75 x 3, addressed in another hand to “Alezander Gardiner Esqr., LaFayette Place, New York City,” and franked in the upper right, “J. Tyler.” Envelope also bears a January 11, Washinton City postmark. In very good condition, with scattered toning and soiling, and a couple light brushes to signature. Reverse retains most of its original black wax seal.
