Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1937 to 1940. Stately vintage matte-finish 7 x 8.75 photo, affixed to a 10 x 12.5 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in fountain pen “To Miss Lamont, with grateful recollections of her care and attention. Neville Chamberlain, June 1940.” Some light silvering to edges of image, and scattered toning, foxing, and dampstaining to mount, as well as a small area of surface loss, otherwise very good condition.
