French psychologist and pharmacist (1857–1926) who introduced a method of self-improvement based on optimistic autosuggestion. AQS, signed “E. Coue,” on an off-white 5.25 x 3.25 card, embossed with “Daikoku, Greenwich, Conn.” Coue pens the original French of his classic positive thinking mantra, (translated): “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.” In fine condition, with a bit of scattered light soiling.
