King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (1865–1936) who reigned from 1910 until his death. Regal vintage matte-finish 7 x 11 full-length photo of George in his full military uniform, affixed to its original 8.25 x 12 photographer’s mount, signed in fountain pen, “George R. I. 1911.” In very good condition, with some scattered light surface marks and fingerprints and scattered moderate silvering to darker areas of edges and background. Accompanied by a similar size signed W. & D. Downey portrait of Mary of Teck. A stately pair of matching royal portraits.
