Founder of the Nation of Islam (1897–1975) who was accused of ordering the assassination of Malcolm X. Business check for the Honorable Elijah Muhammad Poor Fund, 7.25 x 3, filled out in type and signed by Muhammad, payable to David Freeman and Son, Inc., for $105.75, July 31, 1971. In fine condition, with bank stamp over portion of first name of signature, ink notation to top, and light show-through from a stamp on reverse.
