#266 Lot 279 Max Nordau
A German physician, writer, and Jewish nationalist, Nordau (1849–1923) was instrumental in establishing recognition of Palestine as a potential Jewish homeland. Untranslated ALS in French, signed “Dr. M. Nordau,” one page, 4.25 x 7, January 10, 1902. In very good condition, with a central horizontal fold, scattered creasing, light toning, and pencil notations to top.
