Retired Soviet/Russian cosmonaut and Air Force Major General who, in 1965, became the first human to conduct a space walk. Four items: two glossy photos, both approximately 4 x 6, one of Leonov in his space suit and one in formal military attire, each signed in black felt tip; a cover from Science and Mechanics magazine, 6.5 x 9.25, signed in black felt tip; and an FDC, 7.5 x 4.5, bearing a cachet honoring America’s space achievements, signed in black felt tip. Creasing and surface impressions to magazine cover, otherwise fine condition.
