British caricaturist and illustrator (1792–1878) best known for his works satirizing contemporary politics and his illustrations for the works of Charles Dickens. Original vintage signed ink sketch of a potted plant on a beige 3.5 x 4.5 sheet, beside a handwritten check list, signed below in ink, “GCK.” In very good condition, with a vertical fold affecting one letter of the signature, scattered light toning, show-through from writing on the reverse, and trimmed edges.
