^#689 ^Lot 721 Lynn Johnston

Two items: softcover copy of If This Is a Lecture, How Long Will It Be?, signed and inscribed on the half-title page in blue ballpoint, “For Larry, from ‘I’ve Got Rhythm,’ Lynn Johnston,” adding a heart and a sketch of herself engaged in a rhythmic dance; and a 2006 calendar of the same comic strip, signed and inscribed on the front in black ballpoint, “Thanks, Larry!! Lynn Johnston,” adding a small heart and a small sketch of her face. In very good condition, with some light soiling to the top edge of the signed page, a loose, but intact hinge, a photo-copied letter from Johnston affixed to the inside of the front cover, and light wear, scattered surface marks and a spot of soiling to the cover, and a horizontal bend to the calendar.
