ALS in Italian, signed “Caruso,” on a 5.25 x 3.5 postcard, postmarked October 9, 1911. Letter to Elsa Crammer. In full (translated): “Thanks for the postcard. My leg is doing well, and I hope I will someday not have to have any more infirmity. A year is long but will pass quickly. A world of hellos.” Matted and framed with two photos of Caruso to an overall size of 21.5 x 11.5. A few light brushes to text and some scattered light foxing, otherwise fine condition.
