Ten items: glossy 5 x 7 publicity photo of Johnny Griffin and his saxophone, signed in black ink; and nine ink signatures from acclaimed jazz musicians on individual cards and album pages, ranging in size from 5 x 3 to 6.25 x 4. Signers are: Coleman Hawkins, Paul Desmond (ins), Johnny Griffin, Teddy Wilson, Mildred Bailey (ins), Illinois Jacquet (ins), Art Blakely (ins), Gerry Mulligan, and ‘Bunny’ Berigan (ins). In fine condition, with some light toning and scattered creasing. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope from Johnny Griffin’s photo and signature, as well as a newspaper clipping announcing his death.
