Famed B-movie director and producer (1914–1977) known for directing films with many gimmicks which were ambitiously promoted. Glossy 3.75 x 6 photo of Castle and Ilona Schutze during filming for 13 Frightened Girls, signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint, “Best wishes from William Castle, Hollywood California.” Photo is also signed on the image side in fountain pen by Schutze. In fine condition, with light surface impressions to image side.
