Professional wrestler, born Eugene Stanley Zygowicz, (1917–2005), known by his nickname, ‘Mr. America.’ Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in blue ink “To my friend, Doc Austell, Best of wishes, Gene Stanlee.” Scattered creases and surface marks, several minor edge tears, surface loss and mounting remnants to top right, and light curling to horizontal edges, otherwise very good condition.
