Wet plate, albumen 4 x 2.5 carte-de-visite photo. General Winfield Scott is seated at the center, and he is flanked by members of his staff. The officer standing directly to Scott's left is General Fitz John Porter. Backmark: E. Anthony, New York, made from a photographic negative in Brady's National Portrait Gallery. In fine condition, with light toning and trivial soiling to some of the darker areas of the image.
