Wet plate, albumen 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photo. Park of captured Confederate guns in Richmond, Virginia, April 1865. Richmond buildings are visible in the background, man standing in the right foreground. This is a variant view of an image that was published in "The Images of War." Backmark: E. & H.T. Anthony, New York, with a two-cents orange revenue tax stamp on the reverse. In fine condition.
