Confederate general (1821–1904) who distinguished himself at Bull Run, Fredericksburg, and Chickamauga. Partly-printed DS, one page, 11.5 x 6.5, November 18, 1870. Certificate for five shares of stock in the New Orleans & North Eastern Railroad Company issued to George Ingram, signed at the bottom by Longstreet as the company’s president. In very good condition, with two vertical folds, one through a single letter of signature, red “Cancelled” notation to body, and uniform toning, heavier on the reverse.
