Lot 44 Dr. Zola’s monitor
Dr. Zola’s monitor. The very first Hydra Lab scene opens with a reflection of Dr. Zola’s magnified face in this tube monitor. This 19 ½ in. x 14 in. x 19 in. prop machine consist of a resin, silver-painted base studded with resin posts and glass electrical tubes. A central resin trunk clasps the back of a large glass tube while a padded resin ring secures and supports the face of the tube. There are blue marker dots on the face of the tube for reference in post-production. The back stem of the glass tube is broken off, but the anchoring back ring conceals the break. Some glass tubes and resin posts are loose but can be fairly easily repaired. Special shipping arrangements will apply. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
