Yellow Cab TAXI from the Heinz Kruger city chase scene. 4-door, Chevrolet 1937 “Master Sedan”, New York Yellow Taxi cab. This cab has an actual taxi meter installed. When it debuted, the 1937 Chevrolet Master Sedan was advertised as “The complete car, completely new.” And it’s true, Chevys had not been altered so thoroughly for a decade. Jules Agramonte is attributed with the impressive new styling of the Master Sedan. Agramonte was previously celebrated for having designed the 1934 LaSalle. This Taxi cab features prominently in the Heinz Kruger chase scene when a transformed “Super Soldier” Steve Rogers chases down the Hydra assassin. This is the Taxi that Kruger car-jacks and tries to run down Peggy Carter who stands her ground, firing directly at Kruger. There are two studio-made bullet holes in the windshield and one exit hole in the back window. The car comes with replacement windows. After pushing Agent Carter out of harm’s way, Steve Rogers jumps on the roof of the cab for a wild ride, ultimately causing Kruger to wreck. Finally, Rogers uses the detached taxi door to shield himself from Kruger’s bullets. The car is non-operational. Special shipping arrangements will apply.
