Steve Rogers hero sketchbook and pencil . Hero sketchbook, 7 ¾ in. x 6 in., ruled sheets. Steve Rogers is seen drawing this caricature of himself as a monkey on a tightrope after his humiliating appearance before the U.S. troops in Italy. Accomplished in graphite and gouache on a double-page section in the middle of the book. Some of the pages are stuck together, likely from the moisture encountered during this rainy outdoor sequence, as well as a production-made copy of the sketch earlier in the book. Also includes the light brown pencil used in this scene. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
