^Lot 125 Swami Fortune Teller Napkin Dispenser

Everything on this piece is original! The front of the napkin holder has a window advertising Swami and showing you questions you could ask with your penny. The chrome is nicer than we have ever seen, and it's complete with the original lock and working key. These were placed on counters in cafes and restaurants, and while you waited for your order you could put a penny in, push down the lever, and have your yes or no questions answered, as well as getting a fortune or saying. You could also grab a napkin from either side. We just filled it with a stack of vintage fortunes. As many of us know, a very famous Twilight Zone episode starring William Shatner featured a machine much like this! Don't miss out on this amazing piece! Size is 7" x 8 3/4" x 5".
