^Lot 144 1967 California Hall Steve Miller Poster

This poster is for a concert held at the California Hall on July 14th & 15th, 1967. The California Hall was a small venue that competed with shows at the Fillmore and the Avalon. Big Brother and the Holding Company played the California Hall quite often, and many lesser-known Bay Area bands got their start there in the mid sixties. This poster was designed by Greg Irons and used to promote a Steve Miller Blues Band show that also featured The Sunshine Co. and The Anonymous Artist of America. The poster is used and has tack holes to the corners, is discolored or has yellowed with age, there are also some wrinkles to this seldom seen early Steve Miller poster. Size is 14 1/2" x 20".
