European Pole Arm
Circa 1500 – 1650, showing nearly 25” spike. The front of the blade shows a crack and loss of metal from use, possibly battle. The shaft has been reduced and there is an old metal collection tag attached, which is
stamped “Adhemar Von Linden, #8. 1882.” The pole arm now measures 86-1/4”, probably originally 12” longer, the wooden shaft approx. 55” . The leather wrap is replaced.
