Lot 870143 4 Civil War Naval Navy Original Large Gilt Buttons
These are 4 Naval issue coat buttons from the Civil War era. Three have a design featuring an eagle with stars. They are gilt, with original coat backings, two unmarked, and one marked "WATERBURY BUTTON CO., CONN." The other is silver tone, marked "NAVY" on front, with anchor, and is unmarked on back. These buttons measure 3/4 to 7/8 inch in diameter. They are in good to very good condition.
