Charcoal Drawing ''Office Lumber Camp'' - Sprinchorn. Matted, in a wood frame, under glass. An original charcoal by deceased artist, Carl Sprinchorn. The visual measures 10.75''x13''. Signed and titled in the lower left corner. Also includes a softback book, ''Carl Sprinchorn, King of the Woods, Essay by Gail Scott, Bates College Museum of Art, 2002'' which is signed by the author. The artist was born in Sweden in 1887 and died in Albany, NY in 1971. During the 1920s, he worked as a lumberjack in Maine and also painted while there. He lived in New York later from 1937-1952. His work became known and highly valued after his death. His artwork sells usually from the low thousands up to over $30,000 on auction, according to the websource ''Ask Art''.
