Mata Ortiz Burnished Black Turtle Pottery. Beautifully burnished black on black pottery with intricate designs on turtle's back. Sgrafitto lines on legs, tail and shell edges. The neck has been repaired, but does not detract from the artwork as the crack is deep under the shell where it is not easy to see. Signed on the bottom. Measures 10''Lx5.5''Wx4''H.
