Manufactured circa 1860. The top of the frame is marked "JOHN JENKINS/ PONTHIR, MON." The alarm gun has two mounting flanges. Overall length is 7 1/4 inches.

B) The sides of the frame are marked "FRAIL & CO." in an upward arch over "REGISTERED/1767". The alarm gun has two forward iron spur legs and a wedge doorstop type trigger. Overall length is 6 inches.
