Lot 344 Pieper Bergmann Patent Model 1910/21 Semi-Automatic Pistol
This is an example of a Bergmann semi-automatic pistol as manufactured in Belgium. The left side of the barrel extension is marked "BREVETE. / S.G.D.G." and "ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS PIEPER / HERSTAL-LIEGE. / BERGMANN'S PATENT." A series of Belgian proofmarks are visible on the barrel, extension, breechblock and frame. Front strap is stamped "L.S.K.16.67." Fitted with checkered grips.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 90% plus original blue finish showing some minor thinning (more prevalent on the grip straps) with some minor edge wear and some minor spotting. The grips are also very fine with a few minor handling marks, along with a small shallow chip missing from the right panel near the front strap. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.
