Lot 393 Excellent WWII Japanese Nagoya Type 14 Nambu Pistol with Rubberized Holster and Matching Magazine
This is a very nice example of an original WWII Japanese Type 14, large trigger guard, Nambu Pistol as manufactured by Nagoya Arsenal in March 1944 (Showa 19.3). The right side of the upper receiver has the Nagoya Arsenal stamp and inspection proofs next to the serial number 21615, with the Showa date below that on the frame. It is a transition model in that it has the later solid knurled cocking piece with the bright polished bolt, and all salt blue finish. It is fitted with standard serrated, mahogany grips and is complete with two original Nambu magazines, (one matching), and an original late war rubberized holster with spare original firing pin.
