^Lot 488 Custom Engraved and Silver Inlaid Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun with Extra Barrel

This shotgun has been custom engraved and silver inlayed on both sides of the receiver. On the left side is a scene of a dog on point flushing a pheasant and a hunter ready to shoot. The right side has three ducks in a marsh scene. Floral scroll surrounds both scenes and also on the trigger guard. The barrel has a single steel bead on a Simmons vent rib, is choked full and has a 2 3/4 inch chamber. Mounted with a ribbed walnut forearm and multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with plastic Winchester buttplate. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches. With one extra, plain barrel that measures 28 inches to the end of the Cutts compensator with spreader choke, Cutts full choke tube and choke wrench.

Condition: Very good with virtually all of the finish as professionally engraved and refinished. One tail feather of the pheasant is missing some silver. The extra barrel is very good and the choke and wrench are good. There are scattered handling marks and a few small scratches on the otherwise very good wood.
