^Lot 489 Two Barrel Set Custom Engraved and Silver Inlaid Remington 870 Slide Action Shotgun

This shotgun features custom engraving and silver inlays and has two barrels. Each 12 gauge barrel features two ivory bead sights, a vent rib, a 4 1/2 inch section of scroll engraving at the breech and are both 30 inches long. The barrel numbered "620303" has a 3 inch magnum chamber and is choked modified. The barrel numbered "432173" has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and is choked full. The scroll engraving is extensively featured on the receiver with the sides also featuring silver inlaid game bird scenes. The left receiver side has a dog on point and two flying pheasants and the right receiver side has three ducks in flight. Has a trigger shoe. High gloss finish nicely figured and fancy checkered forearm and high comb pistol grip stock with grip cap and vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 3/4 inches.

Condition: Excellent as embellished (see above). The barrels retain 99% blue finish with a few light handling marks. Barrel "620303" having some minor spotting at the muzzle. The receiver and magazine retain 95% blue finish with extensive slide wear. The wood is excellent with a few minor handling marks.
