Lot 541 Edward Kettner Hammer Drilling
The 16 gauge shotgun barrels feature extra full/extra full chokes, 2 1/2 inch chambers. Blade front and folding rear sights with two dovetail scope base slots filled at the breech. Left barrel marked "ED. KETTNER", right barrel marked "GULN-SUHL". The frame and lock plates feature a light scroll engraving. Checkered pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, grip cap, leather sling, and serrated plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Condition: Very good as refurbished. The barrels retain 95% refinished blue finish which is taking on a faint plum patina. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina with a few areas of silvered out case colors. The wood is fine with a couple hairline cracks on the forearm, a few minor handling marks overall, and worn re-cut checkering.
