^Lot 1251 Excellent Factory Engraved Winchester Model 12 Takedown Slide Action Shotgun

Ivory bead front and steel mid bead sights on the matte vent rib, chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells and improved cylinder choke. The receiver is engraved with a round panel on each side with a hunting dog, surrounded by floral scroll engraving with a matte background. The bottom of the magazine tube is marked with a pigeon and the matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver and magazine tube. Standard barrel markings, jeweled bolt and follower and mounted with a fancy multi-point checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a Winchester metal grip cap and black plastic checkered Winchester buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches.

Condition: Excellent. The shotgun retains 98% plus original blue finish with some minor normal usage wear on the magazine tube. The wood is also excellent with only a few light handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings and engraving are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
