Lot 1281 Indian War Era Cavalry Holster, Pouches, Ammunition and Belt
This lot consists of 1) an original, unopened box of 12 revolver ball cartridges from Frankford Arsenal, dated 1878, 2) Black leather belt, approximately 36 inches in length with solid brass "US" belt buckle and double strap brass hanger, 3) "US" embossed black leather flap holster, marked "LANZ, OWEN & CO./CHICAGO" on the back, 4) "US" embossed black leather cartridge pouch marked "ROCK ISLAND/ARSENAL/EHS" between the belt loops and unreadable marking to one side and 5) "US" embossed black leather thick wool lined cap pouch.

Condition: 1) Fine and unopened, 2) Good with moderate flex wear and a dark, untouched natural patina on the brass, 3) Very good, some flex wear on the flap and belt loop, as well as some edge wear on the edge of the flap, 4) Very good with some normal usage wear and 5) Good with some flaking on the leather on the bottom and a small minor cut on the flap.
