Lot 1282 Black Powder Colt Single Action Army Revolver
Manufactured in 1876. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and the left side of the frame has the two line, three patent dates marking. The left trigger guard shoulder is stamped "45 CAL". The full serial number (28213) is stamped on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap with the partial serial number (8213) stamped on the cylinder. The barrel is numbered to another gun (7124). The ejector assembly has the early bulls-eye ejector rod head. The assembly number "1514" is stamped on the loading gate. The letter "S" is stamped under the ejector rod housing near the screw bushing. The revolver is fitted with a smooth walnut grip.

Condition: Fair as refurnished with stretched back to original length barrel. The barrel and ejector rod housing have an artificial brown patina. The remaining metal surfaces have a mottled brown patina. There is some scattered minor pitting. The grip is fair with a couple missing minor chips, a couple hairline cracks, some minor pressure dents, and a few notches along the bottom edge. Mechanically sound.
