^Lot 1394 Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Varmint Bolt Action Rifle

Manufactured in 1960. The varmint barrel is tapped for sight mounting at the muzzle with a scope block mount at the rear. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver. Mounted on a high comb pistol grip stock with checkering on the forearm and grip area, sling swivels and checkered plastic buttplate.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus original blue finish with some loss at the muzzle and some very scattered minor handling marks with a few minor dings in the metal. The stock is also excellent with a few barely noticeable handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The buttplate is chipped at the toe. Mechanically excellent.
