Lot 1542 Excellent Colt Model 1908 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Factory Letter
According to the included factory letter, this pistol was one of 30 shipped to the Whitney Sporting Goods Company of Denver, Colorado on 1 August 1927, and confirms the finish and grips. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent markings on the left side of the slide and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" on the reverse. Checkered grips, with Rampant Colt medallions on each side.
