^Lot 1563 Scarce Wartime Production Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol

Produced between 1942 and 1946. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block address/patent dates with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide, and the right is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" followed by the Rampant Colt. The trigger guard is marked "R/VP" on the left and "71" on the right. Checkered stamped trigger, thin hammer, long grip safety, serrated arched mainspring housing, and Coltwood grips.

Condition: Excellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing wear along the high edges and some scattered light handling marks. Grips are excellent, with a few light pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
