^Lot 1565 Pre-War Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured in 1924. Fixed sights, with the two-line address and patent markings on the left side of the slide, "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" on the right and a matching serial number on the rear under the firing pin retention plate. Marked "W/VP" on the left side of the trigger guard and "51" on the right, with a checkered short trigger, wide hammer, slide stop, thumb safety and arched mainspring housing, with a long grip safety and checkered grips.

Condition: Very fine, with 90% of the original blue finish, showing some mild edge wear, scattered scuffs and light handling marks overall. Grips are very good, with extensive wear on lower left panel and light dents overall. Mechanically excellent.
