Lot 1566 Pre-War Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufactured in 1920. Fixed sights, with the two-line patent and address marking on the left side of the slide, and "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45" followed by the Rampant Colt on the right. The frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" over the "C" prefix serial number, and "P/VP" and "82" on the trigger guard. Equipped with a long trigger, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, wide spur checkered hammer, short grip safety, flat mainspring housing, and checkered grips.

Condition: Very fine, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of bright edge wear, scattered scratches, and a few small areas of spotting. Grips are good as revarnished, with some absent chips. Mechanically excellent.
