Lot 1598 J.P. Sauer 1939 Production "147" Code, 98K Bolt Action Rifle with Scarce Deaths Head Proof
Blade front and tangent rear sights, with a set of three "eagle/359" proofs on the right side of the rear sight base, and an "eagle/37" next to a Death's Head, or Totenkopf, stamp on the left rear side. The receiver ring is marked "147/1939" on top, and "359" and "37" proofs on the right side. Floor plate is marked "crown/X" with matching numbers on the other components. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a steel buttplate numbered to the gun.
