^Lot 1851 Springfield Armory SAR-48 Heavy Barrel Semi-Automatic Rifle with Bi-Pod

This is a desirable preban SAR-48 Rifle featuring the heavyweight barrel with the Israeli pattern wooden hand guard, post front and adjustable peep rear sights, flash suppressor, and carrying handle. The left side of the receiver has the model/caliber/serial number markings and the right side has the Geneseo address. The right side of the magazine well is marked with a cross cannon cartouche and "1005-SA-48-MATCH". The barrel is mounted with a bi-pod. The forearm is grooved and the straight grip stock is smooth with a flip-up shoulder rest with plastic pistol grip.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus of the original parkerized finish with some light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with a few minor handling marks.
