Lot 1915 Winchester Model 55 Takedown Lever Action Rifle
Manufactured in 1928. Marble #2 front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear sight, with the New Haven address on the right side of the barrel and the caliber and patent markings on the left. Standard receiver tang markings, with a half-magazine takedown assembly. Smooth straight wrist stock with a metal forearm tip and a serrated buttplate.

Condition: Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray patina and scattered mild handling marks. Stock is very good, with varnish loss and mild dents. Mechanically excellent.
